What's the point of teabagging
Last match i was left to die by my team all they did was teabag the exit gate so here's the question why do people teabag mainly at the exit gate when i play killer if people made it to the exit gate i don't go near it because i'm not wanting to see them teabag. When i play survivor with a friend i wait for them to show up or leave but my team just teabags so what's the point of it. I only teabag to get my teammates attention so i could heal them if their injuried.

To insult. That simple.

Running from the killer involves a lot of cardio, so it's important to stretch in between chases.
Breathe in. Breathe out. Feel the burn.

The point is to annoy the killer. To rub in their victory. A lot of dbd players are like that:/

Teabagging CAN just be being cheeky and playful, in most instances. Teabagging at the exit gate and running out without letting the killer hit you is just to be aggravating, though.

They have to release their inner 12 year old.

Threads like this give teabagging even more attention.

I was in same situation recently. I was unhooked on endgame and Bubba was chasing me. I was dodging his hits and almost made it to the middle of the exit gates. There was 2 teabaggers on exit line ducking repeatedly instead of bodyblock for me. They could take hits and we all would escape. Even if they bait him to rev chainsaw we would be fine.
I don't know if they are selfish or just stupid. I guess it's a bit of both.

It's just a way of showing disrespect towards a killer. Sometimes it's also a way of trolling another survivor.
If I see someone teabagging, I'll tunnel them down - even at the expense of objectives. And if you do it at the exit gates...well, I have a long memory and if I see you again, I'm bringing my nastiest addons and a mori.
Petty, perhaps - but damn does it feel good.

Gotta get them quads in shape bro

To make you feel bad so they can feel good about themselves.

They were probably doing it to the killer and not you. Also you should know not every survivor will try to save you during end game collapse. Especially now that enough word has gone around about MMR being tied to exit gate escapes. You'll start to see a lot more survivors play selfishly when possible.

Teabagging is a display of dominance and superior skill, especially if done at the exit gates.

Why teabag is insulting you lol. Just swing at them so they run away.
I teabag only shitheads who tunnel hardly or simply facecamp because "gen rush" where they simoly cant add pressure to survivors

It's meant to insult someone
Teabagging has been a classic gaming insult since the first halo pretty sure don't really know the lore of Teabagging in multiplayer games

I mean... You wouldn't do it unless you thought it was insulting. So, I guess I have to ask, why do you do it? Just to make yourself feel better?

To air out the butthole of a sweaty survivor to the detriment of the killers future sportsmanship

Teabagging is usually used just to taunt/annoy the killer and nothing else.

If I'm playing survivor and I see my mates doing this (especially if it's an obviously new killer), I may accidentally get in the way of them running out so they don't fall out when the killer hits them and he may still be able to hook them again. Sometimes that works.
If it happens within the round and I catch on, sometimes I'll be a bit of a goof and stand around in the way and maybe interfere with a loop once in a while. I don't like bad behavior. It doesn't matter if I'm playing Killer or Surv.
Everyone is allowed to do what he wants, if he follows the rules - but then sometimes has to live with the consequences.

I love it when survivors tbag me. Little do they know I can get pretty sweaty in how I tunnel and camp.

Why teabag is insulting you lol.
Read the comments to this thread and you'll see why.

To annoy people enough to make a forum post about it

The most confusing times are when I know we both played horribly, but somehow David's proud of himself. It's like, did you not see the same chase I just saw? You have nothing to gloat about, sir.

It depends. I crouch repeatedly to my teammates to say "Hello", to ask for a heal, to say "Thanks"... They crouch back.
I never do it to a Killer, I don't want to ruin their fun while playing. We are opponents, but I also think about the human behind the screen.
But the three SWF I'm sometimes matched with love to do it to show me that, no, we won't save the poor solo you are because we don't care.

The point of tea bagging is to make tea

Some people just enjoy teabagging at the exit gate and they hope it pisses you off.
Or maybe because they feel better after teabagging at you, idk.
Just ignore it and move on. I sometimes just look at them while they teabag, that way they know it's not pissing me off or anything.

Depends on the way it's done; a tiny bit of it in some contexts can be seen as being a memester or just a cordial, 'hey' while not being locked into an animation. Other times, it can be to annoy the hell out of the other side.
I only ever do it in a cordial manner when the killer is memeing, maybe they're a ghostface and can do it back and it's all fun and games...or if the killer played in an obnoxious way, trying to be toxic, or tunneled me/a teammate all game and we still got out. I will teabag the ######### out of that type of player.

I just played a Huntress game where I was trying to do the Beast of Prey rift challenge. So I chased everyone, and only hit them once BoP proc'd. Didn't throw any hatchets. Didn't tunnel anyone. By the end of the game, I had 2 of them on death hook. Hooked someone at the start of EGC, and I backed off and swung towards the hook and nodded to let one of the survivors know that I wasn't going to tunnel or try to stop the unhook. Give a half hearted chase to the person who did the unooking, and clearly stopped and spun in circles way in front of the gate to let them know I wasn't going in - and STILL a Bill decided to t-bag furiously. I literally laughed out loud.
I share this story to say, some people are just dumb. Try not to let dumb people get to you if you can.

To exercise their trigger fingers! Holding M1, WASD, the occasional DH E, and spamming spacebar isn't engaging enough.

They're just stretching their legs.
I mean they've been knelt down doing gens most of the time!

can't see that working
