Is bbq worth a perk slot anymore with mmr?🤔
If you are lucky you get your 4 stacks.
If you are unlucky you are better off just using another perk that prolongs the match and make up the extra BP or a different tracking perk altogether.
It feels like a gamble at best...what are your thoughts?

I get my 4 stacks 98% of time so yes.

At low mmr yes, but it’s debatable at high mmr. I personally use it despite running against comp teams because I like the information it provides, and I use it with infectious fright to get slugs and pressure

If you want the BP, sure. The tracking isn't particularly useful in an optimized setting. Just because you can patrol somewhere doesn't mean you should.

I still use BBQ and still get use out of it - I tend to go for information perks in general though, so it suits my playstyle

Can't beat the double BP and the aura reading encourages me to not camp. Still one of the best designed killer perks in the game IMO.

There are better tracking perks or even using something like stbfl and gen regression perks...longer game time = more bps overall.
There comes a time when you reach and mmr where you dont reliably get 4 stacks.

Why do people ask these questions? You literally can't know if you have a high mmr or not.

I will get my 4 stacks even if it costs me the match and my sanity.
Until the grind is nerfed or BBQ changed to not give extra BP, I will run it every single game on every single killer.

Comp teams huh?? Well considering the vast majority of comp teams don't team in regular matches I find that interesting. Which comp teams are you facing regularly? Would love to see some vids of you facing these comp teams in regular matchmaking outside of actual competitions.

No. It was the first thing I cut from my builds. If you need actual game-winning information, use discordance in combination with game sense.

How would I know? I won majority of my games before MMR and win Majority during MMR. I assume I am.

I've been preferring Thrilling Tremors or Discordance for info over BBQ nowadays, then again i have majority of the killer's i play with perks i want, so extra BP gain isn't a factor for me.

That proves nothing. Especially since they stated the entire system is based on kills/escapes. They've basically guaranteed every game will be sweaty.

Rule of thumb: If the Killer lost, they were at high MMR.
At least this is what I get when I read how many players are at high MMR or how many Streamers have something like "Top MMR EU" in their title.
(Obviously not everyone who claims to be at high MMR is actually at high MMR...)

bro please think no offense but if your only playing vs sweaty swf obviously they escape every time, solo players dont escape everytime
if your only facing sweaty swf obviously then you aren't gonna get a lot of kills if your only facing solo survivors you should be able to kill a lot of them

I don’t play competitive dbd but sure thing ! Mostly French or european teams since I’m French myself. Last time I had a member from oracle in my lobby his name is Zongow, and he was SWFing with a friend. It was tough and I ended up with 7 hooks… Not too bad I guess, but yeah I’ll be sure to record next time and send it here

Even if I got only 1 stack, that's still the equivalent of offering a Hollow Shell without actually offering one. I think it's worth it.

Worth it Everytime especially if your not playing for the 4 k. Not every killer can make use of the aura but the BP feels amazing no matter what all I care about in my trials are my 4 stacks and doing something cool or funny

BP are worth more than MMR every will be in its current state. MMR is invisible and it is affected so little per match that you won't notice any difference when you Win or Lose. Unless you think BBQ somehow makes you lose SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much more that you'll actually visibly see a difference in your matches.

only on killers who take advantage of it with fast movement. Then the blood-points make up for the mediocre effect as well as it having a bit more synergy.
