a rant on mmr and the playerbase
every survivor game is ruin+undying with tinkerer on a mobility killer. always shaking their head at you like they have epilepsy for god knows what reason. every killer game is a 4man with keys on a busted map who make sure to gloat. then you eventually lose since you cant keep up with this without fighting fire with fire and go back to stomping noobs. theres literally nothing else. i dont want to go against noobs, i want players who can actually challenge me. i also dont want to sweat like my life depends on the match just to stand a chance. i dont solely play to win but i do come in the match with the idea of it. but my top priority is having fun. and the thing is most people in high mmr arent even good, they just get carried by what they bring into the match. ik bhvr wont back down from their mmr stance since they believe theyre literally omnipotent at game design. so rather what id see is perk changes. incentives to not run the same perk combos over and over. and we did get a few of them with the mid chapter, but the problem isnt just bad perks. its that some perks like ruin and unbreakable dominate everything else. you could run a fun build, but if youre not good at the game u wont enjoy it. thats the main reason that we see meta perks constantly. people dont want to take off their training wheels. dbd players are so scared of this boogeyman that the thought of losing becomes something to prevent at all costs. but let me tell you a secret: none of the bm in this game matters, so dont take it personally. dbd bm is literally the goofiest ######### ive seen in a while. yet people take it so personally.

What is capital letters used for?

There's a bare minimum of expectation when communicating with someone else. If you just want to shout into the void and don't want anyone to hear you, you don't need to open a thread.

Paragraphs are minimum for me.
English is not my language but making a post easier for others to read is something everyone should do.

For me it's punctuation and paragraphs. I can stomach the lack of capital letters and even poor grammar (to a degree), as long as the punctuation is there and the post isn't one massive wall of text.

you could not tell when he was starting a sentence? that is unfortunate. everything he said was true, when I beat survivors on hook it is not personal, just a bit of goofiness.
