SBMM doesnt mean Skill Based Matchmaking ( and how to fix the Matchmaking )
It means Survivor based Matchmaking
I was playing Clown for a Daily i never played Clown so why i get matched whit Sweaty SwF Survivor ? Isnt the Matchmaking based on my Skill i have whit a Killer ?
Also the worse thing about the MMR is that Survivor MMR rank up on escape so if a Survivor is really good at the Game but didnt escape alot because they wanted to be killed there Rank didnt Rank up and get matched whit low rank Killer
There should be other Thing to Rank up on the MMR and not only Kills and Escabe there should be Things like
- how good a Killer can use his Ability
- how long a Killer need to end a chase
- how fast a Survivor can escabe a Killer chase
- how many time a Survivor save unhook a ally
- how fast a Killer can hit a Survivor
And other Things
The biggest Problem at this Game ( except the Gen speed ) is even if u are a very good Killer like Otzdarva u still get destroyed if the Survivors doesnt make any fault . This Game isnt based on the fault of Survivor so if they dont make any fault its kinda impossible to get them

If you never played Clown he won’t start at zero MMR but with an average MMR from all your killers you have experience with. When playing him the MMR will adjust individually for that specific Killer though.
also SBMM is indeed abbreviation for Skill-based Matchmaking. Though it was confirmed by the devs that this skill is only determined but escapes/kills.

Its still stupid the Matchmaking shouldnt be only about Skills and Escape there are other factors that count as Skill. Like i said if a high Rank Survivor is extrem strong At loops and everything but didnt escape alot because he want to be killed or he got camped why he should get matched whit low Rank Killer that arent on his Level ?

Oh I agree. It shouldn’t be only about escapes/kills. The devs even said they tested that before but it didn’t work out and their system was more complex now. Turned out to be a lie..

The worse im not that good im more Casual because my Aim is very Bad i miss alot Hits ( also mostly because i Play in Controller and Aiming in Controller is awful At any Games ) and now i get matched up as Twins against sweaty SwF Teams in a Row just because i was able to get a 4k in my Last Match the MMR sucks so hard 😔

It took them 2 years to implement the escape based matchmaking, how long do you think they will need to implement everything you suggested? Matchmaking in this game is done with.

It's really not,
When i play survivor I go against killers that are extremely good or complete baby killers. There's no inbetween.
As for killer I used to main blight before SBMM and since the change it puts me against god tier survivors so I've just stopped playing him.

I mean BHVR themselves confirmed that the games have been more evenly matched so if you're having a problem of being matched with better players you are an outlier.

Would be intersting to know what data they used to come to that conclusion.
Of my group of friends that play this game all 7 dislike SBMM and have had worse games since it was implemented. Also a lot of people in the community that are claiming to have worse games too. Seems like a lot of outliers if you ask me.
The only people really saying they have seen an improvment are solo survivors who are getting team mates who are more competent.

Considering they say something is bad gameplay then turn around and allow it, I doubt you can use that as your sole source of info.
