New Prestige System?
Behaviour hinted at a new prestige system in the most recent Q&A stream that could potentially help with the bloodweb grind.
Anyone have any ideas what it could be?
Do you think it would be a good idea to start prestiging characters you already play for the future, or will it be an entirely different system?
I didn't prestige most of my killers because I figure prestiging is just for cosmetics...but if it's actually going to have long-term benefits, well then I should start working on hitting P3.

Personally, I'm holding off on Prestige-ing even characters I want the cosmetics for just in case the new system would be less punishing. I've got retired offerings and such on some killers, I'm hoping I don't have to lose those with the new system.
I can't imagine they're going to remove the bloody cosmetics, so if there are new rewards I imagine they'd be on top of, not instead of, the current ones.

Prestiging anything for *mb it will be worth doing but i don't know* reminds me old generation that gathered everything just in case WW3 starts. Don't spend your time and BP until u know how they actually rework it. It's not worth to gamble.

They also made bp code for 1031 BP so yea...they are very aware of the grind and are working on it

In the past the hinted at prestige rewards. I don't know if that's still the plan, but I wouldn't hold my breath. In general, they won't do anything major. Look at grades rewards, for example.

No, I am not wasting a single bloodpoint until I am SURE it is worth it. I do not want it to be worth it though, I just want all perks on all killers, fam.

But... 1031... It's Halloween. October being the tenth month and 31 being the Halloween day.
I'd prefer to count on an in game way to get more BP/have less grind than code we got from time to time. The joke of 1031 is fine I think.

It could be anything or it could end up being nothing. They've scrapped ideas before. So I'd wait until we actually get to see what they do before thinking about if you should prestige or not if you don't already bother with it.

removing perk tiers would be a nice start.

im trying to prestige asap for same reason. Last time they fixed grind they gave every prestiged character legacy outfits

If you weren't already prestiging you characters you should wait and see what the new system is.
It might be made to where you can keep some things like addons.

Yeah, it's possible. But it sounded like it was a system they were working on that was more complicated than simply allowing you to keep your items when you prestige. But that may be a side benefit to the new system? They've released so little information that it's hard to know what to do or not do.
