Show me killer idea’s

I am enjoy reading idea’s and concepts, im open to all idea’s, long or short, simple or advanced. (Besides, i want to read something)

    I love it! Lots of detail, and a type of killer i’d really enjoy, with the acid spit and switching between queen and drone

    A long time ago I once pointed out I'd love to see a Puppetmaster/dollmaker killer that could drop his creations in the world. The power of said creations would depend greatly on the addins in play. A few powers that they could have would include

    • Aura reading
    • Having the ability to latch onto survivors and prevent them from interacting until removed by another survivor. However, said doll also creates a terror radius.
    • The iridescent could allow the killer to "channel" power into the doll attached to a survivor in an attempt to jockey them to a less favorable position.

    Couple years later we got the twins... I couldn't help but wonder if BE saw my idea and went their own direction with it. Not that I mind though. While it wasn't quite what I was after, it was cool to see they ran with the idea and gave us victor.

    I’ve posted quite a few ideas in the past, but I think this one is my favorite. It uses bot AI similar to Nemesis zombies.


    The Dreamcatcher

    A shaman once tasked with cleansing the minds of his tribesmen afflicted by evil spirits - he now uses his powers of mental manipulation to consume the minds of The Entity’s prey. 


    Special Power: Mindsnare

    • Hold the “power” button to cast forth a stream of web-like filaments 10 meters (at base) in front of you, toward a survivor. The goal is to expose the survivor for a cumulative 8 seconds. (Progress does NOT degrade over time). 
    • When near narrow passages, doors, or windows, TAP the “power” button to place one of 8 filament tripwires. Any survivor who passes through a tripwire will scream and incur 3 seconds worth of filament exposure (at base). 
    • When a survivor becomes fully exposed, their mind comes under attack and they must fight to regain control. Both the survivor and killer are brought to the survivor’s Mindscape - which is a random one of several micro-maps. 
      • Each Mindscape map will essentially be a main building of some type and a small bit of land around it. (Devs should get VERY creative with these!)
      • The killer hunts the survivor and can down them in one hit
      • The survivor must either survive for set amount of time (1 minute at base) or find and complete 3 (at base) map-specific interactions (like pressing a button) - whichever comes first.
    • While the killer and survivor are competing in the Mindscape, their physical bodies in the main game will be controlled by AI bots - hunting and attacking other survivors. The survivor will always be at running speed while hunting teammates. 
    • If the killer downs the survivor in the Mindscape, they will be downed in the actual game and he will emerge from their head as a vaporous cloud. Afterward, he may pick up the survivor. 
      • If the survivor escapes, both players simply regain control of their characters - very likely far apart from each other at this point. The survivor will be injured.


    Extra info 

    • The killer may leave the Mindscape at any time if he wishes to maintain momentum in the main match. The Mindsnared survivor will still attack teammates until they escape the Mindscape.
    • Survivors enter the Mindscape with the killer no matter where they are on the map when they become fully exposed (such as if they hit a tripwire while not in a chase). 
    • If more than 1 survivor becomes fully exposed to the Mindsnare at the same time, they will enter the same Mindscape but will have to survive or complete their objectives independently of each other. The killer remains in the Mindscape until all survivors there are downed or freed - though he may still leave on his own if desired. 
    • Bot-controlled survivors have a red stain - though a little smaller than the killer’s.


    Perks:

    Hex:  Visions of Chaos - Whenever a survivor sees an aura or notification bubble, 1/2/3 exact copies of the auras and bubbles simultaneously appear elsewhere on the map. This applies to ANY aura or bubble (killer, teammate, gate switch or hatch from maps, items from Ace in the Hole, etc.)

    Brain Fog: A fog bank is visible on the horizon for each survivor at an initial range of 100/90/80 meters. The fog rolls in closer to the survivor at a rate of 1 meter for each second that they remain on the same tile - limiting their view and perception. Any noise, notification, red stain, or terror radius from within the fog goes unnoticed by the survivor. Moving to a new tile will dissipate the fog back out to its initial range. 

    Unfinished Business: the progress bar for any activity will appear to be filled and disappear 1/2/3 seconds before the task is actually completed. (especially useful on totems - at least until survivors realize what’s happening.)

    So Ima copy and paste some of the stuff I've seen:

    Shapeshifter

    A killer that gets more powerful as generators are repaired

    Somebody already said this but wall climber of sorts (hey if monstrum 2 can do it so can dbd)

    A crawling killer (I imagine samara form the ring looking somewhat like this if it came to dbd)

    Another killer with an insanity effect (like a couple slender concepts I've seen)

    A couple things have been implemented already such as a couple of the perks and some parts of it aren't balanced at all but I'd still like some feeback on it.

    New killer: The Banshee


    Power: Celtic fury


    Basic stats

    Move speed:4.6 Ms(115%)

    Terror radius:24M

    Height: Tall


    A mourning spirit. The banshee can charge her power”Celtic fury” by placing runes. When activated ”Celtic fury” will cause the banshee to become undetectable and increase her mobility. These runes are also a great source of information 


    The banshee starts the trial with 5 runes. She can place these runes any interactable object such as generators, totems or windows when within 32M and having line of sight on the object. If the rune is placed on an object a survivor who begins to use it will scream and reveal their location. Runes take 2 seconds to place and reduce the banshee’s movement speed to 105% when setting them down. These  will charge up the banshee’s main power “Celtic fury”


    The banshee’s power has a cooldown of 180 seconds which begins as the trial starts. This cool downs goes down by 30 seconds every time a survivor interacts with an object cursed by a rune. When activated she will scream. This causes all survivors to scream out revealing their location. This also empowers the banshee.  During this time the banshee gets an action speed increase of 25%(vaulting, breaking pallets, picking up survivors) and becomes undetectable. In addition the banshee can also teleport to any runes she has placed. This takes 2 seconds to activate and will take her 5 seconds to be able to teleport again. Celtic fury last for 45 seconds

    I want a witch/cult leader, some kind of of grim reaper type of character, and a mythology horror siren. Those are my dream type of killers.

    Awhile ago someone made a post talking about how would you come up with a killer's power if I gave you a name.

    They said the photographer and I made Larry A. Abrahm.

    He was a stealth killer who can hide in lockers and cause a special type of exposed if he takes a certain amount of pictures of the survivors with his fog bound camera and with the sweet added bonus of downing survivors who try to hide in the same locker he is.

    I was actually so hyped to make a drawing of this character and everything.. but something came up.
