Nobody should buy anything on steam until they notify us if they're leaving the platform or not, to think they would actually time this with a dlc release+event is disgusting and it's borderline theft , for everyone's own good I recommend you not buy anything else on DBD through steam and not even for the reason of a boycott but to protect yourself from a potential theft where it's immediately taken from you after you buy it and you're just out the money, this isn't a hate on BHVR deal but everyone on steam deserves to know before you just rake in millions on the dlc+cosmetics and then take it back mid event and disappear to all the people who just spent money.

Yeah I was planning on buying Mikaela but looks like I'm putting that off for a bit (or maybe even forever if this is a permanent thing)

I agree with this as well, as if the cash grab wasn't enough already with these 15 dollar outfits they have in the store, they've stooped to a new low for cash this time...

I went and inquired for an refund. Because after bhvr blatantly lied to us, you can't trust any kind of damage control they might post.
Unless the entire crapto thing is undone and removed entirely, and those responsible get kicked out (seeing even a lot of bhvr employees are angry) there's no reason to stay with the game

I was planing on buying Mikaela too but now I won't. But I guess I can spend my iridescent shards instead though 😅

DBD needs competition, capitalism runs with no competition good for the companies, and competition good for the consumers. Competition, where DBD needs to put their best foot forward would be benificial to the game, but right now they're in a power role: first to make a polished assymetrical game, filled with liscenced characters.
No competition means BHVR doesnt really have to worry about poor decisions. Buggy anniversary? What are they gonna do? Play another 4v1? Ok... Oh wait..

People deserve a refund for the current chapter as they lied to us when they said they weren't working on anything nft related only to say that they are days later
Like I don't know law that much but can a class action lawsuit be made on being told false information by the company

Better suggestion don't play the game the less players online will give them statistics that this stupid decision was a bad idea

No need my friend, I'm just straight up not spending my money on this game for a good long while (at least a year.)
I'm pretty sure they can stay financially stable without my small inconsistent inputs, anyway. Especially given this whole NFT shambles.
Hopefully they don't make this mistake ever again.
