So for just buying a DLC I am automatically banned from Dead by Daylight.
After analyzing the situation, I am worried about what could happen to all my progress in Steam and at the same time I feel cheated, it is like buying drugs and then the police harm the buyer and the seller, that police is Valve, that seller It's Behavior and that buyer is me, what the hell is Behavior doing, after not listening to the community, he wants to harm almost all half of the gaming community for a disgusting association that damages the battle against global warming.
This is another reason why I do not want to buy dlcs or content, or do not want license characters or leave the game due to the mismanagement of the company or those in charge of the title of the game.

I highly doubt Steam would do such a thing, since we didn't even know of this until very recently. Whether DbD gets to keep its Hellraiser license I do not dare say. But Steam cannot just ban you for something you bought on their platform, even if it's been removed.

Steam wont ban any players but there is a very real chance they will take DBD off of their platform

I doubt DBD is getting banned over this NFT deal.
You get keys to DLC from buying the NFT which you can't do in game. And there's absolutely nothing against the rules that states that handing out dlc keys is against steam policy.
Unless DBD actually integrates with the NFT and you can earn currency or purchase NFT inside the game, DBD is likely going to be fine.

DBD is likely going to be fine
Not with the playerbase

This is a conspiracy. I think that Behavior is not aware of their actions which is very worrying to the steam community. But so far I don't worry right now, I worry when they might start releasing more NFT-related content.

There's a lot of people stirring up drama right now. With all dramas, misinformation gets spread as gospel.
Don't pay it any mind or take it with a grain of salt.

I am too concerned about what will happen if steam does something about it.

true that i barely play as it is. but the community is in uproar right now this is bad pr for bhvr in their shady scummy business tactics and then not to mention the ongoing rampant hacking that is ignored or no statement made .... but then no wonder look how they tried to sweep this under the rug or skirt that they played or had any part in nfts .... lol

Why did this immediately come to mind? Lmao

The NFTdies tonight! The NFT dies tonight! The NFT dies tonight! That phrase seems like a meme already in Halloween Kills.

No there’s not

Steam wont ban dbd, they are a big company and have lawyers to make sure its all legal or in gray zone at worst, before revealing NFT stuff

They will completely ban you from Steam and put you on GLBP (Global List of Banned Players) and you won't be able to play games ever.
Edit: If it is not obvious: I am just joking!

Players shouldn't be banned for something they had no idea about.

oh my bad

They are fully aware. They have been banning their forum users for months, long before any of this was confirmed. It's a very serious and legitimate conspiracy.

It's unlikely sure but steam could absolutely use it as an example of how hard they plan to go against NFT's, they've done equally petty things in the past
