Alternatives due to this NFT situation
So, I'm sure this will be closed, but im curious what alternatives people have to DBD. Specifically, idealy, asymetrical horror games in the same vain.
I know I just signed up for the beta of VHS another asymetrical horror game in the vain of dbd.
Ill be updating this post with suggestions for as long as my memory allows me to remember this post exists!

I haven't found anything on xbox one too similar to DBD but if you're into horror or horror-esque games, some of my favorites include State of Decay 1 and 2, Outlast 1, 2, and Whistleblower, and the Resident Evil series (I'm particularly a fan of RE7). Sorry if those are obvious answers lol
Another one that I'd like to get more into is Hunt: Showdown

To the people that are curious on predator hunting grounds
It's wait times can be extremely long especially if you want to play as predator and the matches can easily go in either teams favor depending on skill level

It's like DBD, but slightly worse, but also better because you aren't supporting NFTs.
EDIT:
It's DBD, but instead of looping, you become a prop and try hiding.

Propnight was actually a lot of fun, when I tried it. I needed 5 min to find the last survivor who had become a coke can and hid in a crate in the corner of the map XD

while it isn't an alternative per say, I've just installed Silent Hill 2 on my emulator. Least I still got some good horror to look forward to :)

There's an official website from Bandai Namco. I don't know if I can post these links here, but search for "Elden Ring network test" on YT and you'll find it. Only on consoles though.

That is quite disapointing, and upsetting. Now not only do we have to avoid ######### video game companies that abuse their employees (I'm looking at you activsion/blizzard and ubisoft), but we also have to avoid ones that abuse the planet with nfts. The amount of games that we can ethically play is getting smaller every damned day because of ######### companies.

I honestly still feel so bad for queen in this situation. The level of second hand embarrassment i feel just by watching that clip must have been 4x as bad for her. Still gets me every time i see it.
