Welp, see ya!
It's been fun BHVR, but seeing as you've gradually gone downhill as not only a developer but a company, to the point of intentionally misleading your playerbase about this NFT business, then just turning around and betraying the trust of the people that keep you in business.
But hey, I hope the partnership was worth it, guys! Imagine all the money you'll make!
Too bad it won't be from me anymore, but I doubt you care. I'll stick around the forums for a bit, but I've already uninstalled the game. Glad to free up the space on my hard drive.

Good luck my friend.

Damn. Another one bites the dust.
I don't blame you. DbD just isn't the game it once was.
Hope to still see you around the forums, though.
9 -
No one can blame you, my friend.
5 -
Oh, I'll still stick around here for a bit. I get way too many giggles from the posts around here.
I'm genuinely so disappointed. Especially since I just got off of a 12 hour shift and wanted to relax and now I'm all riled up.
I really don't know what BHVR could do to ever get me to support them again.
1 -
I appreciate and at the same time am saddened that so many acounts with thousands of posts are uninstalling. So many people come on here with like 10 posts to say they are leaving. Never has this many thousand deep posts done this though
7 -
Ah, that's nice to hear.

I mean, I've poured thousands of hours of my life into this game.
I used to defend them, but I just can't anymore. First it was the mistreatment of console players, then chapter release after chapter release that was just rushed and buggy and terrible. I stopped buying things with money about 4-5 months ago, but this was just the final nail in the coffin. I loved this game. Hell, I was excited to about the patch tommorow.
But, BHVR, as they always manage to do, has ######### it up. They've made it so obvious they do not care about their consumers. I don't know why I ever even tried to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I get you, I understand you completely. I don't regret it at all
1 -
You know what, if anything's good come out of this it's the fact that Killer and Survivor mains have a reason to stop fighting for a bit.
2 -
It's sad yet understandable seeing all these well known forum members leave.
Even though I don't know a lot of them personally, I have a lot of respect for them.
2 -
I wouldn't exactly call myself "well-known", but it was definitely a shock seeing @Orion leaving. They've been such a constant presence on the forum.
I can't blame them at all, considering I'm doing the exact same thing. I hope to see them stick around the forums, at least.
2 -
I knew you well from your posts, and I agreed with them a lot of the time.
But yeah, seeing Orion leave was completely shocking for me.
4 -
Ah, well I'm glad to hear that. It sucks this has to be one of the first ways we've interacted, as far as I'm aware. If we have before, I'm sorry, I have a very bad memory.
I would love to hear what @GoodBoyKaru would say about this, but he's banned. He put a lot of effort into this forum alone, I can't imagine how upset he is
4 -
Yeah I was so upset when I saw he got banned.
2 -
Karu is probably fuming right now. I can't blame him, either. First he got banned for no reason, and then this NFT stuff pops up? Yeah...
2 -
I mean, I haven't put nearly the amount of effort into this game as he has and I'm fuming. A lot of people are. I got most of my QnA information from his posts.
4 -
I have no option but to do the same, sad thing to see how downhill this has come. I can't see the game ever making me quite as excited as when Stranger Things came out.
3 -
I like how they pinned his post right as they banned him. Way to show appreciation to the guy who just spent hours typing a summary of your streams for you.
0 -
For anyone wonder Karu is shitposting on Twitter in the only way I can describe accurately is like a crazy eyed mad scientist that's screaming "I ######### warned you! But you didn't believe me! I'll be back and when I am you will all pay." Sort of mood
1 -
The worst thing to me is I was actually excited about the game again. After nearly 6 months of just "meh" towards the game, this mid-chapter made me excited to play the game.
Oh well.
0 -
Ah, yeah? That's good to hear at least, shitposting is my favorite form of "I told you so."
0 -
Goodboykarus ban is only temporary. Hell be back next month
0 -
I did too. I'm hoping they come back to the forums one way or another eventually, but I can't say I would blame them if they didn't.
0 -
Is he coming back, though? A lot of people are already leaving because of this.
Unless he's just coming back to yell "I told you so!" before vanishing.
0 -
I wouldn't exactly blame them for not wanting to come back.
But I think GoodBoyKaru and I are similar from what I've seen. I get the sense they'll come back and just be passive aggressive or shitpost all the time.
2 -
I don't want to speak for him. I'm not the lorax and he's not a tree. However in my opinion he'll be back to just hang around.
0 -
That'd be a ######### hilarious way to flip BHVR the bird before leaving.
1 -
I think he told me this word for word but mentioned being a vengeful Phoenix
0 -
I'm still gonna play the game because I have nothing better to do in my free time but I'm absolutely done spending money on this game
0 -
Ah, I was thinking of a angry honeybadger but that works too.
0 -
Yeah, I can't blame you for that either.
I'll probably get back into Dark Souls 3 myself, at least until Elden Ring comes out.
Or maybe I'll really torture myself and start playing Overwatch or Paladins again.
1 -
Can I recommend New world, deathloop, pokemon unite, Valhiem, Alan Wake Remastered, or Ni No Kuni 1 and 2. All different genres all amazing games In their own way.
0 -
I've been thinking about playing overwatch again too. You know we've hit rock bottom when the thought of unironically playing that game even enters our minds.
0 -
Watch me get banned for discussing a banned player in depth too.
0 -
Actually playing Valheim (sometimes) already! I enjoy it. Ni No Kuni 1 was such a charming game, I didn't even know a second one came out. I'm a little too scared to restart my addiction to Pokemon, however.
0 -
Look what you've done to us, BHVR.
Look what you've done.
2 -
I'm trying to get through DS2 atm, it doesn't even feel like the first game.
0 -
Lol I love the opening to Ni No Kuni 2. You control the president of the United States and get whisked away when a nuke hits your city. Then like a BAMF you use a gun to take down people trying to kill a prince. Also I fully plan on droqning in pokemon diamond and pearl
0 -
Oof, DS2 is... An interesting one. It's definitely the black-sheep of the Soulsborne family, but I won't go too indepth about it because then I'd reveal my obsession.
I will give you a little help though, level up adaptability. It makes the game easier, as it literally controls the i-frames of your roll. Because they thought that was a good idea.
I'd also recommend playing Bloodborne if you ever get the chance, as it's genuinely such a fantastic ######### game.
0 -
Wow, that is... Way different then the opening to Ni No Kuni 1.
0 -
Ikr like Ni No Kuni 2 don't mess around
0 -
Who was the mf in charge of making i-frames a stat.
0 -
Probably the same person who put over 40 bosses in the game and decided drinking an Estus should take five years.
0 -
I liked having you on these forums, you were a cool fella, however the reason of you leaving DBD now as well as the forums later is completely justified.
Good luck out there pal, I hope you could find some peace out there.
0 -
Thanks for the kind words, genuinely. I think "cool fella" is one of the nicer compliments I've received recently.
Same goes to you. No matter how long you stick to the game, or wherever else you decide to put your time into.
1 -
I'll just sit here quietly as ds2 is my favorite ds game. By far.
0 -
It's because of the Emerald Herald isn't it
0 -
No.... the sassy cat in the house really gets to me ok.
0 -
Makes me really happy to hear that, like really happy! And thank you!
