I’m so emotionally down from this whole situation
I feel absolutely betrayed by BHVR and there’s no reason for me to trust them anymore. It really breaks my heart because this game has done so much for me and it came to me during a time in my life when I was going through a hard time. This game saved me and seeing it go down this path is absolutely devastating. I really just feel like crying right now.
I’m probably not going to leave the game right now but after today, the day I officially quit the game will probably be way sooner than it could’ve been.

I admittedly was one of the ones who felt this was too stupid to be true. And yet, somehow this company has still managed to surprise me in the worst ways.
MMR already had me taking breaks, but I can’t see myself ever picking this game up again unless another company purchases it or something.

I was actually so happy with how the mid-patch update was looking, and I genuinely believed they were turning things around and finally listened to us. I was actually thinking about buying the $100 Auric Cell pack and getting a whole bunch of cosmetics because I was so happy for them and their improvements.

Yeah I was very optimistic about it as well. It’s such a shame because they did the absolute worst thing they could have done. I would’ve much rather have an incredible buggy chapter than this.

Yeah I thought BHVR would be more well known for making a buggy ass game with horrible frame drops but this is just disgusting what they’ve done.

I feel you completely.
I remember when I first saw DBD, I was in art and saw a spotlight for Freddy Krueger, and I instantly grew obsessed. I had been waiting ages for a game like this, and here it was. I got into, poured too much of my life into it, and got stuck. I had so many good friends from it though, and I used to stay up late with my crush playing survivor together, or he would watch me play killer and talk about how good I was. It was stupid, but it was so nice. Over time, DBD got worse, my crush ended up not ever progressing with me, and all of my old friends stopped playing. Even though there are still plenty of people playing, it feels like a ghost town of a video game to me. But with recent developments, I need to say goodbye to it and it kind of breaks my heart, because I never had gotten so involved with a community like this. But the memories will always have a nice place in my heart. Especially those late nights, but the game is simply not the same and I can't see it getting better soon, and I'm sure my life will be better without it.
If you ever need to talk though, I'm here for it! DBD may be awful, but the people behind the screens are still people all the same!

It feels like a betrayal of our trust and support....it just feels so dirty to be like:
Us: "oh hey, BHVR...we saw some troubling info/news about some shady Pyramid scheme...can you let us know what's going on?"
BHVR: *radio silence for a week+*
Us: "ummm...guys/gals what's....up we really don't wanna believe what we're hearing. Talk to us!"
BHBR: "Oh hey, we're not doing said shady thing.....*a lil time passes* but we are partnering up with shady seller scheme!"
Just, what a crap show this whole thing is.

All are png, I checked and yes, all the drawing I put online are webp.
I only noticed this like a month or 2 ago. Pretty much you cant download an image you like and repost somewhere else, at least with phone.

try an imgur upload, usually keeps the file intact

If you have a pc, right click - copy an image and paste on Paint, then save. It should work on your end.

I know how you feel, as this year has held some really ######### abhorrent reveals about game developers.
Blizzard is full of sex pests.
BHVR is selling out to NFTs and lying about it.
The world, at least to me, feels like it's full of a bunch of scary stuff and the places I want to go to and get away from that are being dragged into that same #########.

It feels like such a waste to leave the game, but I can't stand the endorsement of NFTs.
