And if you are buying the new chapter, are you using shard or real money?
A few hours ago, I would have said I'm buying the chapter with real money but I've decided for the first time to just buy Mikaela with shards. It's just not worth it to spend actual money on these devs rn.
If the new chapter was a survivor and a killer, I would buy the chapter with real money since I don't have the shards to buy both. I would buy only the chapter, no cosmetics or the rift since I still don't wanna spend money on them.

I'm going to leave it for a few days. With Resident Evil and Hellraiser Chapters, i bought them as soon as i could and on the day of release i had lot of bugs and server issues. I don't wanna spend money for that again.

I do t get this ideology that we all have to quit this game. I get it they lied to us and are partnered with NFTs but I’m still going to play my game. I just won’t use real money

yeah i did the same. ive pretty much bought every chapter on its release but with everything going on, but for this its just no worth it when the money is probably being used to cash into this NFT pish.

Not after they admitted to lying to the community yesterday. BHVR isn't getting a cent from me anymore until the game focuses on better health, more transparency, and less cash shop

I guess people just have a different way of taking things like this, cause it's a pretty big thing. some people were on the verge of leaving anyway and this NFT situation just pushed them over the edge.

I won't be playing the game until this fiasco is addressed in one way or another. However, if you do decide to buy this Survivor, please buy them with Shards. The less money DBD makes off this the better, because then BHVR will realize what a massive mistake dealing with NFTs are.

it would, last time i saw bhvr doing something bad and then them changing/fixing the issue cause of community backlash was when they messed with survivor movement and the hud.

I'm going to try to buy it on CDKeys so money doesn't actually go back to BHVR, as I have done with the game and every chapter (except for Pinhead, unfortunately). I already have cells in my game so I'm going to get the rift and a Mikaela outfit with them, since there's no use in them just sitting there. I know our money that isn't on Pinhead won't go to the NFT, and I know they're not selling it themselves, but I'm still upset and don't think they deserve my money right now since they lied to us.

I'm buying with real money. Didn't buy Cenobite/Pinhead and I'm excited for the perks with Mikaela. Besides, while I know this NFT thing is a hot button topic, I don't think BHVR/DBD is actually going down the NFT route- more like they bought into one/partnered with one for the liscense. HellRaiser's liscense holders aren't getting my money for her, so I'm chill with spending a little cash on her in exchange for perks I'm actually super excited for.

Just a reminder to not be blaming the Devs in this situation :)) I see you put that in the post. The NFT doesnt have anything to do with the Devs but rather the licensing team, CEO and higher up people. Legally the Devs did not need to be disclosed this information regarding NFT's so they may not even of known about it until the announcement!

I stopped putting money into DBD after the Silent Hill DLC because of performance issues on console. If I get Mikaela it will be with shards. I'm in no rush to get her, I don't like her look and her perks don't appeal to me. If a challenge comes up where I need her/her perks then I'll use some shards to get her.
