Honestly i care less about the nerf and more about the people that play him. They nerfed him HARD, and i imagine it really really sucks for the people that have mained him for a while. I hope they can manage to stay sane.

well, it's just a reminder that at any point a char you've put loads of time and effort into can get screwed because the designers with a fraction of your capacity to play it/understanding of it decided the way people utilize it is icky, stinky stonk players very dirty, need to be.... clean

Speaking from personal experience, it's horrible. All my muscle memory I've built up over the close to 2 years of playing him is worthless now - my aiming style just isn't compatible with this new "only animation lock shoot, zone often" playstyle. It's worse than I'd imagined, and sucks all the fun out of the killer.
I think I'm just going to play Trickster now. Not only is he still playable on console, but he's more fun and infinitely stronger than new Deathslinger. And the devs love him so he's never going to get nerfed.

i'd play trickster more seriously if main event had no expiration timer
that one small change a la oni would add so much to him, god knows the scenarios where it's actually good to use it are rare as hell

I really hope the death penalty is legal in his country. It might be needed, he would still be sending letters out of a cage or something and we can't allow that to happen.
