Hawkins Removed Early?
Was playing yesterday and was working through some of my Hawkins map offerings before it is gone for good. I log in today and now they are all gone for all of my characters.
It isn't impossible that my tired brain didn't realize I was out of them but was curious if this happened for anyone else?

I just looked, don't have the offering on any of my characters. They really completely removed the offering from everyone's inventory and didn't refund the BP or atleast convert them into BPS offerings?

The Stranger Things content was all gone after the update for me as well, even the clothing pieces for sale. When I got back on a little later I was able to purchase them though. I'm not sure what is happening, the Stranger Things content isn't supposed to leave until Nov. 17 and it seems to be departing early. Maybe they got ahead of themselves, or [Company] is pushing for the content to be gone earlier? Either way, it sucks.

Wait, they're removing the offering? Have they ever removed offerings before, I thought they only ever disabled them?

With the map being gone, the offerings will be removed not just disabled. Am trying to get information on the offerings right now.

Are they going to compensate? And by that I mean refund the blood points or just convert to offering into another one?

That really sucks, since offerings like the Moonlight ones were just disabled rather than removed entirely. The past couple months I grinded like crazy to unlock multiples of the HAL badges on each of my Stranger Things characters on two different accounts.
Also, I'm hearing that the Stranger Things perks have changed. If someone bought the DLC, the perks don't change, right? That's what was specifically stated (edit: I think that was said in a video, am I misremembering it?), yet it sounds like people who bought the DLC are seeing the updated versions with the new names.

yeah I meant from November, with the map being gone from November 17th. I wanted to clarify that the offerings will be completely removed from players inventories.

I'm pretty sure I remember it being said in one of the streams. That owning actual DLC meant the perks would stay the same but the perks would become available in their new generic forms through the Shrine.
Fudge me, I guess I have to go look for that, don't I.
Edit: I looked, and I think it was in the dev stream that's clipped a bit in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKtbQOUt80Y However, that dev stream isn't available to view in full anywhere as far as I can tell. Also, it probably doesn't even matter; BHVR will do what they're gonna do no matter what was said at some point in the past. I'm just sad about it, is all.

Today is not November.
And nothing to compensate? Turn them into Bloody party streamers?
Not trying to whine for points, but some people used tons of points to specifically farm those.

Ew, that sucks.
I remember there was this whole discussion before with people asking hey, what will happen if we have the original Stranger Things perks from the DLC and try to buy the generic ones from the Shrine... if BHVR decided that was too much trouble to deal with, that makes me really sad.

Was very disappointed to see the early removal today. Wanted to use up all of my Hawkins offerings first. Why tell us mid November and then change it to mid October without alerting us of the change first?

Ok, I just had a match on Hawkins. It seems the map is still in, but at least some people lost their offerings without warning and without reimbursement.

If they're being completely removed in November will the players that have them be refunded BP or have them transferred to equivalent offering like BPS?

God if they had all Hawkins offerings replaced with BPS I would be so damn happy. I'd actually have a use for the BP I spent on them.

We're going to get a bonus 200k BP in a weeks time for this latest ######### up and that'll be it.
I too was saving up mu NHL IDs to use before November 17th.
Just another reason to not play the game right now.

Really wish they had told us they were removing them ahead of time. Hawkins was my ideal Mirror Myers map. Was also nice for Nemesis.

I'm still salty about the SILENCE over removing Hawkins badges. They were literally stolen with no warning.
BHVR, you at least owe us a 24/7 Hawkins 2x BP day or something on the last day.
If you guys said wed lost the offering way sooner than the map, nobody would feel cheated and bamboozled.
I get it, it was probably Netflix...but communication is cool.

Well that sucks. I was definitely going to use all my offerings on the final day and I’m sure I wasn’t the only one. I get that they do need to be removed but why do it early? If there was some licensing issue then fair enough, but it would have been nice to know that before the 5.3.0 release and not finding out after the fact.
