People purposely dc because of boons?
For 5 straight games the killer has dc'd when I went in as Mikaela. Is it a coincidence or are people actually dc'ing because of boons?

their game is probably crashing because apparently nobody tested the game for crashes or stress tested servers. Nice update BHVR, most of your players cant even play it because you force DC penalties on them despite the crashes being your fault :)

The thing is that on the ptb people hadn't it.

Probably not
I myself have been kicked out of 3 games today, just because a boon was created. Don't know if this error is just for me, but it's more likely than someone dc'ing simply because of a 90% faster heal.

I've heard that when the PTB is posted, it's not the most recent build, it's the most stable build. That's why the game seems so much less buggy on the PTB than on the chapter's release.

For clarification, I meant while we're loading into a match. Not when a boon is placed

The game is only tested on PC during the PTB. Consoles make up the largest portion of the player base. So no one with a brain would be shocked at the game crashing or having never before seen bugs when you suddenly add in 2 or 3 times more players than was tested for, on different platforms no less.

This is the norm. The live version is almost always broken compared to how stable the PBE is.
It's truly amazing how BHVR works.

Oh thank god I thought it was just my connection being horrible. Was prepared to buy a new router after being booted like 4 games in a row lol
