Why was the death room in Dead Dawg Saloon changed?

I haven't played on Dead Dawg Saloon since the first time it was disabled, but I noticed just today that the death room has been changed. The window was boarded off, the one breakable wall that lead inside was replaced with a unbreakable door, and the other breakable wall that led into the room beside it was removed.

Was there a reason this was changed?
