Playing Killer Only Feels Worse
The buffs, and nerfs that came with the update. Playing Survivor feels immensely stronger, and playing Killer feels a lot worse. None of the issues were addressed, and the Killer just has more to worry about with Boon totems. Playing Hexes is absolutely useless even with the buffs to some of the Hex Totems. Doesn't matter if your totems don't last longer than 20 seconds into the match.
Also now that you can't use BBQ or aura reading perks, I am finding Killers are proxy camping, and tunneling even more than before and while playing Killer you can't keep up with gen speeds if you don't proxy, tunnel, or slug. Even then it feels like you risk a lot by slugging.
How do you mess up a game this easy - this bad?

The best thing you can do is play something else. They wont fix anything if they dont have too. I hope vhs takes off so dbd has some competition but i doubt it. I think we need something to knock bhvr off their pedestal and have them actually balance their game. Like a wow vs ff14 "no king rules forever" scenario. Without the harassments.

Playing survivor feels the same to me. The Boon Totems aren't aren't strong.
The developers did introduce an AoE anti-aura perk, but the Developers were already thinking about anti-aura perks, because they came out with Distortion. If Shadow-Step wasn't made, then Distortion would have been buffed.

Play in duoQ or SWF and you will see if boon totems are not strong. 4 escapes/4 to 5 hooks 99% of the time at a fairly high MMR... but ye, boon totems are weak...

I actually found killer pretty fun for the short duration that I played which was three matches today. 2 matches as plague which I never play by the way, were really fun especially with her add ons. One match as Trapper and that went well with how much better Trapper feels.

I agree. Killer was already way more stressful after SBMM came out. Boom totems have made playing killer an even more miserable experience. I appreciate BHVR’s attempt to introduce something new and exciting into the game, but with this one I feel like they don’t realize how OP it is in the hands of skilled survivors and good SWF teams. Survivor mains are going to continue to say “it’s fine”, but we’ll see how they’re feeling when their queue times are unbearable because nobody wants to play killer at high ranks. Maybe I’m wrong, but we’ll see…

It's all about baby survivors I haven't played survivors for a month now because how easy it is. It's so boring now. So far I tried killer and I read people so esly and since the gens go so fast it becomes end game I only lost once but all the wens I got were in a clutch the said thing is now won looped me that good and had barbecue to go to the next person and still gets the gens done.like for real I have experience of being a survivor and used that to my advantage to mine game them.

Yeah, I haven't really had any issues with boons either. Beat a 4 stack that had multiple boons up with Pig. If survivors are sinking that much time into boons and a killer can't get anything done, they need to look inward.

Before his buff, he had alot of place to traps that he didnt have enough traps to setup. After his buff, many places used to hide his trap are no more. Made me feel like "I have no where to setup traps". I usually have 1-3 traps that dont know where to put.

What I'm saying is that survivors aren't taking boon totems into matches that much because they aren't that great. Killers know the killer side but they don't understand the survivor side. Survivors on the other hand, realize Boons aren't that useful, compared to other more useful perks.

i think that was obvious when he got a 4k on addonless billy with potato perks.
If anyone played that build at an actually high mmr then billy would have received more abuse from the survivors than he ever did from his parents

None of them are running boon totems...
They also don't have all tier 3 level perks, so I highly doubt they have been playing long and are not even very good at the game.

Right? Honestly people aren't even using Boons that much in the matches I've had, or at least not using them effectively.
I think there's alot of newbie players too (there usually are during DLC sales and BP events) and they don't know how to use the Boons to their full advantage. Plus, skilled players don't just run run run around a map and leave tracks everywhere usually, unless it's a huge map.

The game turned into a sweat fest and hackers are rampant. Avoid this game if you're on console because they managed to brick me and my friend's playstations!

I mean... prior to her nerf I wasn't willing to play Spirit. Now that she feels more fair, I'm willing to play her and omg... there might be a new Spirit main in the game. So for me personally it's feeling better.

How to solve your problem, play Twins. 3 perks, that I know of Victor can actually activate. I don't use 1 of them tho. Ruin and Undying passively works with Victor. You'll have no use for BBQ or aura reading, because he can't use those, nor does Shadowstep, the weaker of the Boon perks work against him. Instead, the build to go with is Ruin, Undying, Hex The Third Seal, and Hysteria. Now you got a fast killer, with all the map pressure you want, with a build that benefits them. He activates Hysteria and The Third Seal, making Charlotte invisible to survivors. His map pressure keeps survivors off gens and your totems.

I'd like to go against new Spirit. I know how she felt playing and playing against with her old style. I would like to see new her from the survivors' perspective, then I may end up playing her again.

boon totems aren't really that bad or at least from the games I played
but yea, playing any killer BUT Nurse is garbage. Maps are so ######### bad and filled with pallets, gen speeds are beyond salvation now, BBQ is practically forced because these braindead devs make every survivor blend into the environment, even totems which are supposed to HELP a killer at least manage 4 people in a large map can get ######### over when survivors can spawn right in front of the totems, survivors having multiple gen speed perks and add ons to finish gens considerably fast with just 2 people, its even ######### stupid that survivors have the ability to change the maps, this shouldn't even be a thing especially with the state of map design right now
To answer your question on how the game got ######### this badly, it's because you can use perks on everyone, along with the balancing team and map design team ran by ######### who don't know what they're doing.
the game needs to be sent to a team that actually knows what they're doing cause its very clear BHVR can't really do it well. Even the season passes look terrible which is pretty funny.
