Killers - Escapes after disconnection

I recently had a game as a killer where two survivors disconnected after one was killed. I felt sorry for the remaining survivor, so I allowed them to do the last 3 gens and then let them escape.

I wondered how many other killers did this and how many go for the win no matter what.

I usually do that as well if someone DCs very early

That is, unless the remaining survivors are dicks throughout the match or if they take way too long to complete the gens

If it's the last survivor after some DC then i will help them finding hatch.

But if it's the first survivor that DCs then i will keep playing normal while taking down my pressure a notch or two aka a chill game. Farming is most often boring and too often survivor become increeeeedibly slow once they know that they get an escape for free.

If someone DC's early, I play super nice and give hatch. Even maybe normal escapes if they are playing seriously. Sometimes they just get demoralized and give up, so it is best to just hook them up and move on to greener pastures.

    Depends when and how many

    1 DC early = 1 hatch

    2 DCs early = 2 escapes

It's not like I am going to get much from that game anyway, so why screw both sides.

But rage quit on dead hook? Yeah, I don't care.

I usually let them go, maybe hook them once so I have stacks.
