Killers don't know how to have fun

And most definitely cannot stand the idea that someone somewhere might enjoy the game for a second or two.

Seriously though. I've never seen killers this toxic before. I mean holy cow. Nothing but hook smacking, head shaking, tunneling, proxy camping, rage quitting brats.

You'd think an event like this would bring a community together to smash pumpkins but no.

So happy the DC penalty is off.

I think this is how every event goes. I could say the same thing about survivors. I've been trying extremely hard to get the Evil Incarnate achievement lately, and every time I get down to one survivor left they always go in a locker depriving me of the achievement.

Survivors dont know how to have fun either. They spend all this time queuing and loading into a match only to try and have it be over asap. Nothing but flashlight clicking, t bagging, insulting message spam, DC'ing cause they were the first one downed, ratting out teammates, just being annoying brats. You'd think they'd learn to do challenges and stuff on their own time and not expect me to stop playing the game normally.

    lol 🤣🤣🤣

You do know that this goes both ways right?

Killers do stuff survivors don't like and survivors do things killers don't like.

You can complain all you want about something on 1 side, but end of the day is that it is always on both sides.

Just stop complaining about 1 side as it will never stop and it will never be only 1 side ✌️

I swear they remove it (I think for issues with hacking) and immediatly people just start RQ left and right, really shows why we have it in the first place.

How on earth is head shaking toxic? Or proxy camping, for that matter...

That darned toxic killer, playing the game with intent to actually find and chase survivors by laying bait....

Playing the game with intent by head shaking?

By that logic, survivors playing the game with intent by teabagging.

Oh, that second part was for proxy camping. I straight up don't know under what circumstances head shaking could be considered toxic, I'm fully confused by that one.

Ill never to this day understand why the events bring out the worst of people, sure generally the undesirable playstyles are year round, but events multiply it by 100, just play normally, i dont wanna have to always bring the try hard survivor build just to smash some pumpkins and get a couple event generators

I think they're referring to when the killer downs the survivor and shakes/nods their head, or when they hook the survivor.

How is that toxic? That's even more benign than teabagging, which is already only contextually toxic to begin with...

Still, I appreciate the answer, thanks!

The ironic thing you are the only one doing something bannable if you are ragequitting

I don't find it toxic personally, although some may find it to be agitating/annoying as though the killer is rubbing it in their face they caught the survivor. Sorta like how some survivors teabag just to rub it in the killers face that they escaped.

    That's just my guess though

I play as killer primarily, and I play the same now as before. I don't see why the event changed anything. I think you may be taking anecdotal evidence as scientific/statistical evidence. The event just started. Give it some time before saying the Halloween event has made everyone more toxic than before.

I'll add that proxy camping is a valid strategy depending on the situation. I don't do it every time I hook someone, but if it's near the end of the game when gens are being done and I hooked someone next to some key gens? Why wouldn't I proxy camp?

There's toxicity on both sides, we have to be fair. You get the flashlight clickers, the head on SWF teams who hide in consecutive closets to stun the killer one after the other, the tea baggers. As survivor, yeah, I got tunneled several times last night and it wasn't fun. But I deal with it because it hopefully bumps down my MMR and I can play against easier survivors next time because of it.

I'm sorry that everytime I tried to have fun, I get shot down with unfair survivor mechanics and just borderline toxicity. This event isn't even that good to even go try hard.
