NFT, Can't track survivors, busted update
can it get worse? I feel some survivors are going to come in and say git gud, fine. When killers can't track, and soon survivors can heal themselves without a med kit or someone else to heal them. This is huge. No one will be playing killer. If no one plays killer the game is dead. Ive already seen more killers DC in the past two days then I have in the past year of playing. It's going to be really bad when the heal boon comes in

Well...selfcare is a trap and takes way to long. This boon totem allows you to heal faster then selfcare. With no medkit. Its strong.

I’ve been using Bite the Bullet + Desperate Measures + Botany Knowledge + Self-Care for a while and it doesn’t take long at all. My point was and still is, is that there’s already perks in the game that let you heal without a med-kit. I actually had a TTV complaining yesterday that med-kits were OP but when he realised I was using a healing build WITHOUT a med-kit he shut up.

I mean fair. In a weird scenario where im obviously gonna spin it to my favor cause thats what debates are. One person brings the totem. Everyone can benefit from it. Where selfcare just benefits you. Im not saying the healing totem needs a nerf. Its just strong is all.

I never said it wasn’t strong, my point was that you can already heal without a med-kit, it’s just a fact. Also, the totem can be removed by the killer or on the opposite side of the map to you. You sometimes save time by using Self-Care, especially when you pair it with other healing perks like I do.

It doesn't matter what you think is acceptable when the devs have came out 1,673 times and told everyone that using voice communication is totally acceptable and is not cheating at all in this game, they make the rules not you so until they decide to totally change that you will always be wrong if you consider it cheating

I actually prefer Self-Care, but only when used with other healing perks. Mostly because I don’t have to look for a totem first / find a locker. I find Inner Strength to be pretty map dependent and I often heal during chases to extend them / make the killer leave me alone.

I just find it odd that a lot of people are bringing up Shadow Tap when Lucky Break has the same effect and can also hide blood trails. You also don’t need a totem for it to activate. Sure, you can’t use it as many times, but you can sometimes get 2/3 uses out of it which can be enough for a killer to lose the game.

I understand your point, self care takes up a perk slot and effects one person. Boon totem heals will affect everyone and only 1 person has to have it equipped.

Don't you think there's a pretty significant difference between devoting 4 perks for 1 survivor to be able to heal quickly vs 1 survivor bringing 1 perk to allow the entire team to heal quickly? That's 15 more perk slots and 4 item slots freed up for second chances, exhaustion, aura perks, toolboxes, etc.
The infinite use of it and insane healing speed buff with no way to permanently counter it makes it a problem. Good luck ever holding a 3 gen against this perk vs a semi decent team.

Rogue11 has my thoughts in mind. The introduction to these perks "will" drastically change this game and I fear for the worse. When killers can't track nor keep anyone injured and no one has to come off their gen to heal someone..... man. Going to be really tough being a killer
