It's nearing the end of 2021... when is content gonna turn free again?
We have nearly 30 survivors, over 20 killers and the game is almost 7 years old now...
but we have only 3 free survivors (Nea + David + Bill) and 2 killer (Huntress + Doctor [only consoles]).
When is BHVR going to make older characters like Feng, Ace, Kate, Hag, Clown, free?

You're talking about a company that sells skins at 10$ each and continuously keeps becoming greedier and greedier.
You really think BHVR Executives and Management would allow survivors to be given away for free when they can keep raking in that sweet, sweet, dough for players to get meta perks and killers?

7? I thought the game was 5 years old. Didn't it come out in 2016?

My bad, I thought it came out in 2015...
Nevertheless, my point still stands.

Free? What is that? Did you mean NFreeT, maybe?

Never because then the people that paid for them are going to be unhappy about it and we will dilute the silly nerf noed post frequency even more.

They won't even take a few months off releasing content to ensure their game is playable, there's no way they'd consider this.

14 XP = 1 Shard. You get 1 XP per second in game. 9000 Shards is one character. 9000×14 = 126 000. 126 000 are 35 hours. So it takes 35 hours of in-game time per character to unlock. You'd need to put in ~ 800 hours of in-game time in order to unlock them all. That's way worse than Battlefront II and yet no one talks about this.
Oh, but wait, you can buy them. Let's see how much the Auric-cell only DLC will run you, since every character is $5.
IRL-money exclusive: $90 (yikes)
Here's how much money you would need to spend to get the full DBD experience when you first boot up the game: $20 for the base game + $215 for every DLC = $235 for the full game.
