Completely irrelevant question, is it through Windows 11? That would explain why it looks so different.

Windows 10; my PC isn't able to update to Windows 11 yet.

I had this problem but it's reversible, you need to go into steam, dead by daylight properties, local files, and then verify the integrity of your files.
