Fan-made Chapter XI: School Stories
The killer is The Teacher, a killer supposed to be released in August 2016. They eventually became The Nurse. The survivor is one of the killer's ex-students.
New Survivor:
Jessica Morgan
Role:
The Bullied Girl
Ethnicity:
Caucasian
Appearance:
Jessica has brunette hair similar to Kate's hair but is brown, almost black. She is accompanied by a burgundy flannel with a black undershirt, reading her favorite band "The Chasers". She also rocks some skinny blue jeans and some black canvas shoes. Her secondary outfit would be a maroon hoodie similar to Susie's hoodie, black leggings, and boots similar to Ugg boots.
Background:
Jessica was born into a mediocre family inside the city of Hayward, California. She was a young girl when she moved to East Oak, Oregon. Her mother had previously abandoned her and the rest of her family, but Jessica hadn't realized this until she relocated. At East Oak, she had discovered what bullying meant- torment and criticism. When she started grade school, her day would be ruined by some of the older girls. Each day, she would be harassed for the type of clothes she was wearing, the hairstyle she had, the color of her shoes, or just about any other unnecessary reason to be bullied for. Jessica would be shoved to the ground, pushed into a locker, and almost broke her arm when she was kicked off the playground. However, the teachers turned a blind eye to the actions that happened. Jessica would try to get help from her caretakers but none cared. Once Jessica reached high school, the bullying got worse. During that time period, social media was invented, and soon brought a new form of torment. The torment had finally ended when Jessica ran out the girls restroom, crying, mascara smeared on her cheeks. Jessica was called a skank earlier that day, causing her to stress out over the incident. An eyewitness noticed what happened, and decided to tell the dean of the school. The dean had suspended the girls but the suspension prevented nothing from re-occurring. Once the girls reappeared at school, the verbal harassment had turned to physical harassment. Jessica would be pushed into a bathroom stall, and repeatedly attacked until they acknowledged her pleads. As of this, Jessica would now skip school and remain at home. Jessica would go to the nearby wood and cry for at least 10 minutes every day. She had felt anger for the girls at school and would bring justice to the situation. Soon enough, the sorrow and pain had overcome Jessica. She slowly started to lose hope for the situation that she would be left alone and the girls would be punished. One day in the forest, a misty fog had rolled around the region where Jessica sat on her damp blanket, thinking of all the events she's experienced over the course of her life. Jessica pondered why this appeared and thought nothing of it. She returned to her blanket and sat, cautiously looking around. A black tendril came from the trees and wrapped itself around Jessica, causing her to scream. Her grandfather heard, causing him to run outside with a musket along with her grandma and some neighbors. They searched the area but nothing could be found. No fog, no damp blanket, no trace of Jessica. Soon they decided to turn back and headed home. Jessica's grandparents were devasted when a search party couldn't track Jessica. Jessica's grandmother still has hope that she is still alive, fighting to be safe, something she's never done before.
Jessica's Personal Perks:
Lone Wolf (uncommon/rare/very rare)
Being bullied in your life has caused you to stay clear of others, as you are afraid they will harm you.
Your repair, heal and sabotage speeds while alone are increased by 11/12/13%.
"I work better alone unless you're my friend.." -Jessica
Ignored (uncommon/rare/very rare)
You tend to be ignored more often as the ongoing rumors confined you to a low reputation.
While you are on the ground, 15/20/25% of your recovery bar is added to your wiggle bar and the bloodstains you leave behind disappear 5/6/7% quicker.
"Please leave me alone." -Jessica
Karma (rare/very rare/ultra rare)
Whatever you bottled up during those years of harassment is finally opened up. Now's your time to shine.
After stunning the killer, receive a 5% Haste effect for 5/7/9 seconds. While the Haste effect is applied, the action speeds of all survivors within 64m of you is increased by 8/12/16%.
Within 10 meters of a dropped pallet, your aura is hidden to the killer.
"Finally, a place where I can take bullying into my own hands." -Jessica
New Killer: The Teacher
(I'm trying to re-enact what would've become of The Teacher who became The Nurse.)
Name:
Jane Caldwell, also known as The Teacher
Weapon:
Bladed Ruler (About the length of The Nurse's bone saw)
Movement speed:
110%
Height:
Tall
Weapon Cooldown Animation:
The Teacher wipes the blood off her weapon by wiping her ruler on her dress.
Terror Radius:
24m
Appearance:
The Teacher's appearance is based on teachers from the 1900s. Jane has an ongoing strut when she walks. She wears a tattered long dress that covers her waist and legs completely. She also displays heels that are still visible but can only be seen at a low level, closer to the ground. She also sports a white, long-sleeved undershirt that has been severely dirtied. 3 visible buttons are visible on the chest area of her dress, along with a necklace. Her face is gray, along with the rest of her body. She has eyes which are sewn shut. Glasses are also visible on her face, both of the lenses being acutely cracked. A large white bonnet covers her entire head. She has barely any hair; some hair being visible on the back of her head. Similar to the Spirit, she breaks pallets and generators with her weapon. Jane's heels can be heard 'clicking' if a survivor is at a very close distance.
Mori
The Teacher grabs the head of the survivor and pulls them back. She crouches down and impales them with her ruler repeatedly, before stabbing the survivor in the neck and slitting the survivor's throat, throwing the body back on the ground.
Background
Jane Caldwell was born into the world as a second-class cherishing human being that had been mannered pleasantly over the course of her childhood. As soon as she became an adult, she had graduated with a Bachelor's Degree, allowing Jane to become a teacher, a figure that she's always dreamed of being. She's always had high grades and did her best. She avoided any contact with the bullies and tried her best to avoid any reputation-harming activities. Once she became a high school math teacher, she felt like she started anew. She tried her best to not succumb to any wrong-doings, such as alcohol or smoking. She resisted those wrong-doings and conducted her normal, healthy lifestyle. As her life progressed, her mind slowly deteriorated. Having to hear the annoying noises of all the teens chattering in the hallways, despite Jane telling them to stop, they would ignore her. She then came across Jessica Morgan. Jane considered Jessica as a child of her own since Jane couldn't have any children via old age, Jane took precise care of Jess and acknowledged Jessica as one of her offspring during class periods. When Jessica started to skip school, Jane became sorrowful. Jane started to drink and smoke, something she had never done in her life. Jane had also stopped performing hygienic routines, such as taking showers or brushing her teeth. After a month of Jessica not returning to school, Jane fell depressed. Being pressured by her depression, alcohol was a big figure in the remainder of her life. She had converted to an alcoholic, causing her husband to be annoyed by her unwitty outbursts while she had been under the influence. One Tuesday evening, Jane had come home drunk from work. She had a bottle of whiskey clenched in her right hand. Jane had caused an argument between her and her husband about taking the garbage out. Jane had broken a plate due to how irritated she was. Her husband was worried about Jane, causing him to file a divorce. This caused Jane to snap, causing her to go insane. The next month, she had killed her ex-husband in a car crash and her friendly neighbor, Heather, who had stopped by Jane's manor twice a month so Jane could receive some company. The authorities eventually discovered Jane, who had been laying in Heather's bed, soaked in blood. Her mind had completely vanished. The authorities handcuffed her and put Jane into the back of the police car. Unfortunately, the car never reached the police station and was found, flipped over on a dirt road, with Jane nowhere to be found.

Perks
Avoidance (common/uncommon/rare)
You cause your prey to avoid barricades that prevent you from catching them.
Dropped pallets within 60 meters have their auras revealed to you. During a chase, when a Survivor drops a pallet, the Entity blocks that pallet for 10/15/20 seconds. Survivors that vault pallets outside of a chase become Exposed for 20 seconds and have their location revealed to you for 3 seconds.
Only 1 blocked pallet per chase.
"If you ask any questions about the homework, I will assign silent lunch."
Underperform (rare/very rare/ultra rare)
Your presence instills great fear, preventing others from completing tasks.
Your aura is revealed to survivors within 24/26/28 meters. While your aura is visible, your terror radius is reduced by 60/75/90% and survivors who are healing, sabotaging or repairing have their action speeds reduced by 19/23/26%.
"Why don't you guys ask questions? I'm the teacher, I can help you."
Ferocity (uncommon/rare/very rare)
Over time, your ferocity grows, fuelling you with hate for progression.
Damaging a generator causes the generator to regress 20/25/30% faster. After damaging a generator, that generator is unrepairable for 3/4/5 seconds. After kicking a generator, all survivors repairing a generator at that time are faced with a moderately/considerably/tremendously difficult skill check. Failing the skill check results in a 5% added regression to the generator. Succeeding the skill check results in no additional progress to the generator.
Generator regression begins when the generator is able to be repaired again.
"Her irony presents her as ferocious whenever she faces inquiries of the adolescence."
Map
The map is The Caldwell Manor, a large mansion with plenty of vaults. There are 3 floors (including an attic but the attic is blocked off), 1-2 generators being on each floor. The basement is located on the bottom floor, which can spawn in the kitchen (pantry) or the large closet in front of the giant staircase. The front door is completely blocked off. However, the backdoor is wide open, leading to a small, fenced off wood, which survivors can hide but still be found as the wood is close to the back door. The upper floors are somewhat blocked off (so the map isn't excruciating to find survivors). There is a vault that if vaulted, lands you in the foyer. This vault can be seen from the location of the front door. There are two generators that have a re-occurring spawn, one will always spawn in the kitchen and one will always spawn in the parlor. There are two bathrooms, one which is completely unenterable, and another bathroom, on the bottom floor, which contains 2 lockers. The map is generic but is unique. The map is also 'balanced' enough to where killers wouldn't have to spend hours searching for survivors.
Realm
The realm is East Oak, which currently houses the map: "The Caldwell Manor".
EDIT: Changed Jane's background.

i like the all survivor perks its soo cool

Just here to help:
Survivor:
1. Clemency - Good concepts, but they'd work better as individual perks. Change Clemency to stunning 1/1.5/2 seconds longer in a chase, and being within 12 meters of a dropped pallet blocks your aura for the Killer. Then, change the second perk to replace Ignored, as 10%/20%/30% of your recovery is converted to wiggle. They would both fit the title of "Ruthless Bully", which should be her role/label.
Killer
1. I'm not sure if the 100% movement speed is completely justified by Detention's speed boost, but maybe make the Killer move 110% like Spirit, and then still gain 10% movement speed, which is the same speed as 1 stack of Play With Your Food on 115% Killers or two stacks on 110% Killers.
2. Totally optional, but I think it'd be cool if Jane wore heels instead of flats. She would also walk elegantly, like in a strut. Similar to when you're in the classroom chattering, and it stops because you can hear the teacher's heels clacking down the hallway. That'd be nice to have in this game, and please change her Terror Radius to 24 meters.
3. For the Memento Mori animation, I ask that you be clear on how she stabs the Survivor. The rubbing of the face is very nice, but I'm not sure what kind of stabs you mean. Here's my idea: The teacher has her hands behind her back, walking slowly towards the Survivor, while purposely stomping to make her heels loud, all while the Survivor stars crawling backwards and away from her. Then she pulls the ruler from behind her back, steps on and digs her heels into the Survivor's feet, bends down, stabs them, and then commences the rubbing of the face. When she's done, she pulls the ruler out, and quickly pokes her head out into the air, as if she couldn't look at that disappointment, showing both sides as a teacher and a mentally ill person.
4. Avoidance - Remove the second part about instantly breaking pallets and stuff. It feels cramped and makes Spirit Fury useless. New perk idea would look like this: Dropped pallets within 60 meters have their auras revealed to you. During a chase, when a Survivor drops a pallet, the Entity blocks that pallet for 10/15/20 seconds. Survivors that vault pallets outside of a chase become Exposed for 20 seconds have their location (not aura, so it'd look like Rancor or Iron Maiden) revealed to you.
5. I'd rework Ferocity. Not sure if it's based off of Exposing the Survivor, or getting rewarded for kicking generators. I'll try and make one with the latter: Generators regress twice as fast when you damage them. Damaging a generator grants you a token. At 5/4/3 tokens, kicking a generator reveals the aura of the farthest Survivor from you, and grants you a 5%/6%/7% speed boost for 20 seconds.
6. Although many people have wanted a high school map, I don't think it will happen because you could make the small arguments of how Badham counts as a school, or that we're copying other games, but the larger argument comes into play when you look at the genre of Dead By Daylight. People are depicted to die in this game. Dying in a high school? Yes, I know this is a touchy topic, but with all the school shootings in America (May the Lord rest their souls), showing young adults being slaughtered in a typical hallway would cause an uproar. The only reason Badham doesn't receive any backlash is because the school isn't the main focus of the map. There's houses, a parking lot, recess yard, and two long streets around the area. If you made Lery's a high school in the sense that the high school is the only part of the map with nothing else there, it'd upset many people. Maybe there could be a building less reminiscent of a school. Maybe a private academy that looks more like a government establishment. Point is, having a high school would create an outrage. But, yeah. That's it. Add-ons checked out pretty well. Love your idea, and I believe the Teacher is long overdue in an epic comeback. Thanks for reading!

Thank you for your feedback! I'm touched that someone would actually care to read my suggestions that I've made. I'll change the perks, based on what you've suggested. I made Jane a bit more of a teacher from today's standards, e.g. one of those teachers that stay on their phone for the entire duration of class. I didn't think about making Jane a 'classical' killer, I made her based on what I've experienced throughout my years of school. On the other hand, I see what you mean about the high school causing a lot of controversies. If more landmarks were added, nobody would bat an eye towards the map, but leaving the map alone could spark anger and possibly a drop in player count. I'll change the map, her appearance, her mori & the perks based on the way you suggested it as. Whenever I try to make perk suggestions, they either end up having to be 'nerfed' or 'buffed', as the perks I come up with are completely unbalanced/uncalled for. Once again, thank you for spending your time to read my fan-made chapter.

I think you got a little over excited writing up your characters. This Jessica sounds like quite the douche, her perks are based on her bullying people which doesn't look great, especially from a PR view, as such it would look as though the game condones bullying and glorifies a bully as a protagonist. Jessica's victim would be more appropriate based on the whole 'emo' thing and that you would actually care for the character, plus she has the edge as a survivor of a bully. Her perks will revolve around her being a survivor of bullying. (remember that a survivor should be a good guy).
As for the Killer, her origin seems kinda chaotic. So she lost her mind because the kids misbehaved and failed in helping a kid who was being bullied, leading to her husband divorcing her? The killer seems to lack motivation as a killer other than divorce. Where does the killer's weapon come into the story? There seems to be less emphasis on how her being a teacher reflects on her killer persona and more so towards focusing on Jessica.
Regarding the Mansion, where does this come into the story?
The power seems like a weaker version of Yamoaka's haunting.
This could have a lot of potential. It just seems like you rushed it alot and got a little to excited around the premise of Jessica.
Keep at it though
Forgot to mention the mori - What's going on there? It may have just been the way you tried to describe it, as it sounds like she just wants prick you somewhat, while massaging your face. The whole stomping thing would be too reminiscent of The Clown.
The killer's appearance seems less like s teacher and more like a sultry woman of the night. Why does she wear a face mask with a long nose with a silky purple dress, stockings and heels? I don't feel any teacher vibes at the moment, maybe I am lost in translation?0 -

I don't feel any teacher vibes at the moment, maybe I am lost in translation?Omg.. I did get a bit too excited while writing Jessica's backstory. I'll add more emphasis about the teacher and change Jessica's role, along with both of their backstories.
On the other hand, yeah, her power seems like a worse version of Yamoaka's haunting. The whole idea of The Teacher is that she can instantly 'cut corners' and cut off survivors who she had been chasing by going through walls and other obstacles while still having sight of survivors, hence the short duration and excessively long cooldown/fatigue times.
I changed the map from a high school to a mansion, considering the backlash the map would receive if it was still a high school, after all, seeing young adults be slashed in a school building can cause A LOT of anger due to an um... I don't wanna say it, as it's a very sensitive topic. I changed it overall so it would have some type of creativity. We currently don't have a map that relates to a mansion (if we do, please let me know).
@ItsDaEmuDood suggested I should change the mori. Originally, I planned the mori to have The Teacher stab the survivor in the back, the ruler poking out of their stomach, then the teacher picks the survivor up and slits their throat, throwing their body on the ground. I thought this would be a bit too brutal, so I changed it, but looking back, this is a game where survivors get sliced up by some broken katana. I'll change it back to what I thought it originally should have been.
I described her as formal but still having her creepy attributes show. I can see what you're getting at (the fact that the teacher is giving off hooker vibes) due to most of her description. I'll change it. Any suggestions?
Otherwise, thank you for reading this.

I have never been the biggest fan of unaltruistic perks such as sole survivor and left behind I don’t like the idea of lone wolf for it slows the game down for you and for other people. Being unaltruistic makes the game worse for you and the other survivors. If I saw someone running this perk I would not ever save them. So maybe don’t have the debuff for it so it’s not too underpowered. The other perks for her are fine though. The killer’s ability is alright too with the perks being good as well. It’s a good idea but just some minor things things that need to be tweaked. I mean this in a very constructive way so please don’t be offended by any of the things I have said.1
