Are medkits going to get nerfed? Why or why not?
An extra health state is huge in this game especially on a good looper.
When I play survivor, i know run,predrop pallet, and heal some while mindgaming or waiting for them to break the pallet has become normal.
One good chase with nothing to show for it on the killer side is detrimental while gens are getting done.
When circle of healing gets brought back it will be even more powerful with a good setup.

They probably won’t be nerfed but they definitely need one imo. Having up to 3 15% faster self heals is completely stupid

They should be nerfed but infinite medkits were added in the game instead. So devs have a different vision on the game balance

Even if they do get nerfed, then what do we do about perks like Circle of healing and Self care? They better not nerf Self care.

4 brown medkits arent a big problem, but when you have 4 Ranger with 16charge addon and +healing speed...
I have an idea that items should be free like Killers' powers, but weaken them by half. Requires an addon to make it work. Then you only have an extra addon for more charge or speed ect
Example with medkit: 16 charge. 24 sec to heal.
From that, you either have +speed & +charge addon, or +charge +syptic addon and sacrifice speed, or +speed +syptic and has a single use

Killers are allowed to bring good add-ons. Survivors should also be allowed to bring good items/add-ons. While I will admit that certain add-ons are extremely problematic (needle and styptic) I can't get behind some people saying that medkits need everything about them gutted.
Tldr: I would be fine with certain add-ons being nerfed but not medkit base stats / gutting them. Healing is already an optional side objective that keeps survivors off of gens for a bit. It sounds like some people just want that to take longer? Use Sloppy Butcher or Mangled effects.

I think medkits shouldn't be able to heal more than 2,5 health states. Other than that I'm fine with them.

Medkits are strong but fair. There are counters, like Franklin's, Sloppy, Insta-down perks/Killers, Plague, etc. If anything, Circle of Healing should be changed to account for medkits.

Goodness gracious if you dislike the effectiveness of medkits now, you shoulda seen them before they all got changed a few years back, actual insta-heals and such. Or toolboxes for that matter. And even before my time you could heal yourself with SC while the killer broke the pallet you just dropped.
Be happy with all them as they currently are bois n guls! :)

And u win on whole game when u are full hp cause it's difficult to find u when u are healed. Medkits have more pluses than cons.
Brown Medkits are fine and as long as every other medkit is one time use only it's fine. Problem starts when u pick addons.
If u pick purple/yellow medkit, u don't need your teammates for entire game so they can sit on gens and don't waste time healing u. That win=win for both of u. I don't see any cons on using medkits better than brown.

Well you need to think medkits as a whole team as everyone can bring a medkit you cant make it as OP as add ons from killers.

I would say 1,5 the thing is you gotta search for a teammate to heal you not completely remove that need.

I hope not. Nerfing them as a knee jerk reaction to content creators struggling with mmr and finding a scapegoat would be silly.
