I've found a way to not to get stressed/tilted as a Killer
I am not a good Killer player. Far from it. Slightly below average. I used to get fixated 4K's everytime when I played Killer and got really angry with myself (and the opponents) when that failed big time... Even if I got 2K I was really frustrated.
Now I've started to play every match with "baby steps"
I set a really low goal for myself at the beginning of a trial. First goal, get a survivor hooked. Then another. And so forth and see gradually how it goes. And if I see an obvious SWF team (especially when they are in a full meme outfits and flashlights etc...), I'll just dodge the lobby entirely.
No point on pulling off the few hairs that I have left on my head.

Or maybe you just learn that it's only a game and there is no point in getting mad?

Isn't that what I'm trying to do here?

I'm glad you found something that works for you. Best thing you can do is just focus on having fun rather than trying to win every game. If you 4K every game, your matches are just gonna get harder and less fun. It's a sad reality, but it's just the nature of MMR. Expect to win about half of your games. Try and just shrug off the ones that don't go well and enjoy the ones that do.

Sorry I was referring to your past self. What you mentioned is good but for those who get mad over a game I won't get. No matter what you'll always find those people who will try to tick you off. I find it funny because it's not like it has any impact to me in reality.

I am just playing tombstone piece myers with jmm lol.
If you tbag and let me feed on you someone is getting deleted soon. :)
It is amazing how they either have to play smart or risk with their bullying attempts and make me profit of it.

Most of players who play bothside will not care much about 4k. Its about the fun in game. You know many times a game isnt fun with 4k and receive death threat. Same to killer tunnel your teammate and all you do is sit for 3min on Gen then escape.

I never really care about the result of the match, all that matters to me is if the chases were fun and if I got better as a player. From that mindset, I really don't get tilted unless someone is screaming in my ear in a call or if I get face-camped three games in a row.
I don't get mad at PLAYERS as killer, but I certainly get annoyed at some perks.

It always gets to me, every survivor who has said something mean has damaged my psyche and it is only a matter of time before I snap and face camp a survivor irl. /s

I wish you luck

I was expecting some smart ass comment like "i deal with killer stress by playing something else"

I recommend just playing survivor. It's way more relaxed, it's easier, and queue times are much faster.

I deal with killer stress by playing something else.

I’m in the same boat as you, @Triplehoo. I recently took it a step further and purposely play perkless, & add-on less. I set the bar REALLY low for myself. I go into every game not expecting any kills. If I happen to get one, kudos to me. I’ll definitely take it. I don’t tunnel, and I don’t camp. After I hook, I go for whoever is on gens. Eventually I’ll start putting on non-meta perks & brown add-ons bit by bit. My thought process for playing “naked” is hoping to get better at chases. The best part? If somehow I manage to get more than 1 kill, no one can be toxic and send me hate mail. No excuses!

What's fun about playing killer other than the suffering of others?

My goal nowadays is just getting my 4 BBQ stacks. Anything more than that is excellent already.

Maybe that's how you see it. But for me it's just a game. When I'm killer i just go for a 3k at least. If I don't no biggie. I always give the last person alive the hatch. For survivor I don't care if I die. As long as 1 person gets out ill consider it a win.
