All those exploits....
That game is full of exploits and devs don't fix them...
For exemple, Blight and Oni only counters are pallets of course but even more small angle turns. Well, on the paper as both have exploits (DPI and unnatural movement exploits) that give them the possibility to do 180 degree turns during their powers...
Oni exploit :
Blight exploit :
At that point, it's pretty much cheating. Finding ways to do things that you shouldn't be able to is called exploiting.
How on earth cranking up DPI allows 180 degree turns while if you play at normal DPI you can't do it ? There is clearly a problem there. What about console players that are gamepad limited ?
I'm pretty sure there are other exploits i don't know about but well that's the two i see more and more.

Didn't they cap the DPI on turns in a previous patch to prevent it from being a PC-only abusable mechanic, and re-introduced the 180 degree turns as a new technique called the z-flick?
Or am I just crazy? It's been awhile.
I agree it's frustrating to face though.

Come on now. With a headline like that I'd expect more than two.

Well, they have failed as the exploit is still working.
From what i understood the z-flick is a two flicks in a row during the same rush but it cannot allow you to 180 degrees. you will basically do 2 90 degree flicks around a car for exemple.
I see many high MMR killers doing 180 degree turns in one single flick. Same for Oni.
Fact is Blight is my main killer but still, the only way to counter him is small angles, if you can bypass it using exploits it's then broken...
The game needs more balanced on both sides. Unfair things happens for both sides.

Cranking up your DPI doesn't allow you to do anything you can't do with "nOrMAl" DPI, which I don't even know what the hell it is since everyone plays with different DPI because everyone has a different preference for sensitivity. All of these mechanics are available for low DPI, it's just that you have to move your mouse less with higher DPI, good if you have a tiny mouse pad.
In fact, by deleting J-flicks they normalized Blight across the board between console and PC which is a good thing.
Looking down while facing an object in order to slide on them instead of bouncing is an intended mechanic as far as we know. While looking down, you can pre-turn on certain objects in order to then flick at the corner to get some extra angles, usually you don't get to 180 anyways except on some objects.
Survivors can still counter you by holding W at certain points in loops if they're paying attention and see you're setting up one of those turns. Blight can be countered by survivors knowing what they're doing and knowing what Blight can do, and there's no reason to make high skill Blight maneuvers impossible because survivors who don't know what they're doing can't deal with them.
If you think Blight does a 180 turn "in a single flick" you don't know what you are talking about because that is not possible, it just looks like a single motion because that's what mastery over a mechanically complex thing looks like. You have to preturn, which is extremely finnicky and you need to know what you're doing and then you turn at the corner you're trying to turn. God forbid a killer gets rewarded for pulling off a thing they do that is mechanically more complex than absolutely anything survivors ever need to do in this pile of garbage of a game.

You do realize blight 180s in a single flick are dead now right? even with 16k dpi and throwing my mouse at the speed of light i cant get a 180 without pre turning. Quick edit: It is legit impossible to 180 without pre-turning, and by pre turning im talking about already looking like 45 degrees plus a 90 flick with the extra bit of turning at the end of the flick

on oni its mostly fine on blight its just instantly annoying and broken i agree

Wow.
Two whole killer techs.
Meanwhile there are still spots where survivors can crawl on some maps where you can't pick them up, and at least one easily abusable infinite loop in RPD.

Every killer using OVER NINE THOUSAND! DPI is an exploit and needs to be removed a$ap.

What, 9000! There's no way that can be right.
