The future of boon totems
With the possibility of more boon perks coming in the future, how does everyone feel about it? I’m a little worried, I also have a feeling we’re gonna see way less hex totems in matches.

Depends on what they do. I could see some pretty fun mechanics being added with boon totems, and some more refining of just how the mechanic functions.

Unless BHVR makes snuffing a boon totem more impactful, it's just going to make playing killer less fun than it already is at times.

Like they're going to have to bring in the friday the 13th game match making where it would just decide you were playing Jason that round. Since no one is willingly going to want to play killer in the future besides the content creators who get paid to.

I wish they didn't have such strong effects as they do now. We just had the new Scourge Hook type of perk and the first one has a good, but hardly game-changing effect. Why couldn't they test it with these effects instead of those two monsters we have now?

It would be fun but balancing is what I'm worried about, the game atm is a heal fest if you don't focus a survivor down and circle of healing is gonna be a perk that's going to be religiously used for a while. Plus people complain but just run haunted so if they cleanse it still is 60s of insta downs. I don't like them personally but with any good idea for them could be interesting but will probably pushed to the side
