Reason why people don't play twins
So haven't faced twins in a while and first match against them ends up slugging constantly so people probably just play twins because they can down and move on with Victor and decide let's slug basically giving them a free win.

Twins is one of my mains. I don't use that playstyle. However, the reason I don't like playing them more is because when controlling victor, you don't have access to a lot of perks. That feels boring. Can't see totems, etc.

Twins are a unique pair of killers, and to me, they strongly rely on hex perks like devour or ruin, as they are pretty mediocre. Corrupt intervention is a MUST have btw. Perks like those are hard to obtain, and The Twins just have hard playstyle

Twins encourages an unhealthy playstyle. It doesn't box you in, and Twins can work as a hit/run killer, but camps and slugs are kinda part and parcel for efficient Twins use - and despite the majority of killer players being fine with those, Twins has a few quirks that make it hard to really capitalize on scummery: it pushes people away who like and dislike the camping.

Their models are ugly in the 'not scary and not grotesque, just kind of dirty and shabby" way. Their lore is boring and disappointing, providing no good reason why they're a killer, no real motivation, and no sympathy or engagement.
They're just sad French peasants.

they just have a bad reputation. If people say "twins all slug" new twins players will slug for the 4k. I've never met a Twins main who intentionally camps or slugs more than any other killer main.
also, good twins players don't slug any more than absolutely necessary, and play the two like a tag team.

Nurse & Spirit, Slinger are top tier (in chase) because their powers connect to M1, which can also affected by perks.
- Perks for tracking -> Power -> M1 -> affected by Perks like Sloppy/Noed.
Victor is just Power, nothing else. Gives me no interest in playing them.

The main reason is because they are clunky. Also if you want to win you HAVE to not play nice and slug and camp sometimes with Victor.

I main Twins and refuse the slug playstyle because it's like shooting fish in a barrel. I like the challenge of using Victor to pressure gens/injure and ending chases as Charlotte. The survivors seem to have fun when they realise it's not a slugfest and I like providing that entertainment. Sorry you copped the favoured slimey playstyle

I have a good friend who got into playing Twins rescently.
She liked them very much but refuses to use the slug playstyle because she thinks it is boring. Currently she is trying to learn some of the more fancy stuff you can do with this Killer and is having a blast...
That said, Twins feel clunky even for her. Maybe some quality of life changes are in order to fix this. They did it with Plague so please fix up the Twins.

I really love twins, but not the slugging or camping playstyle.
The problem with how I like to play, is it's extremely punishing when I make a mistake. This causes me to not play them much anymore, but I still consider them to be one of my mains.
I feel twins need a rework, they're too punishing on the killer at moments, while also making the game pretty unfun for survivors most of the time. I don't think number tweaks will do it for them.

Yep, It's super annoying. Why not get punished by playing correctly. It's not like you have option not to do it...
They can be fun, but there has to be lot of slugging involved.

The problem with the twins is that they're the most punishing killer to play as in the game. Can they win the game through slugging everyone? Absolutely but getting there is the hardest part because a single mistake or a misjudge in the situation can cause you to lose ALL of your momentum in the match. You either play them perfectly or you're liable to lose the match, there's extremely little wiggle room for recovery which is why you don't see a lot of people playing them.

It's simple.
First off, not many people actually enjoy slugging people 90% to death before hooking them.
Secondly, it's really fun to run around as Victor, pounce at people, and attack them from a long distance. Then you have the other 90% of the match where you're plodding around as Charlotte, the most default of default M1 killers, who has to track down the person who Victor is riding to actually get a down, or to pick up the person 10 minutes away on the ground that Victor just downed. You lose SO MUCH TIME just slowly walking across the map to pick someone up, and if you're especially unlucky, they can Unbreakable or be picked up in that time.
Lastly, it sucks that you make one mistake and you get instantly kicked, and suddenly you're half the map away and the survivors just have zero pressure on them at all.

Twins is the worst killer in the game by far. Promotes an awful boring playstyle, you can't use perks half the game, victor is like huntress hatchet hitboxes on steroids, they feel very awful and sluggish to play as and against and I can keep going honestly. Most poorly designed killer in the game in my opinion. No wonder almost everyone hates them.

As others have said, the 5 second stun change to Victor is VERY punishing. It's what made Dowsey stop maining them. Not to mention that having almost every perk not work with Victor - whom you control a majority of the time - makes them very difficult to play, especially if you're new to them.

A streamer I sometimes watch plays a lot of Twins and the most fun I've seen is doing longshots from across the map with Victor, hilarious to watch Victor sniping people and I'd not seen anyone else trying similar playstyle.

Last time I faced off with twins was a month ago and was not really tunneling/slugging or camping, I rarely ever see this killer so I cant give them bad names but I always was curious to see why they hardly is ever used.

The reason I'm not playing my second favorite killer right now is because downing a survivor with victor gives you a stun longer than ds. Honestly I wish ppl would kick me after those downs so I could get back to playing again. What's worse is a survivor who knows the timing, and waits until the absolute last second just so they can make my pain last that much longer.

I played twins twice tonight and both games i got hate mail. The one i actually responded to was "I hate you". I responded with I'm sorry I just really wanted to try this purple add-on (if your in the Radius of idle victor you are oblivious). My gameplan was to keep him near hook, get KI when they coming, them not hear me return.
You wanted to try an add-on just to camp he says. I said yeah pretty much. He sent more derogatory messages which I responded if I don't slug or camp with twins majority of my games I will get destroyed.
Hey responded well GG i Guess you killed us in minutes kind of boring. So I let him know that's exactly how Killers feel when you guys split up four ways and rush gens. You guys don't care about killer fun so why would I handicap myself for you?
