When will the grind end?
I have 1700 hours in the game and still haven't been able to unlock the perks of most characters. How long will we have to wait? I play both roles equally, so bloodpoints are not enough for both roles. Pinhead is 40 levels yet and I still haven't been able to upgrade it the way I wanted. New characters are coming in December and I still haven't been able to upgrade the latest characters. I also stopped doing prestige because it's just a waste and a huge grind. Will you continue to add cosmetics and characters as if the game is okay? Now I want you to do something BHVR, Please!

Got 0 desired perks on 50 lvl killer, so i need to reset it and try again. System is f-d up

BHVR probably thinks making a huge grind is a way to keep players coming back for more in order to unlock everything on everyone (kind of like someone who keeps watching a bad TV show because they’ve already invested so much time in it).
I have very little hope that they actually care about the grind frustrations.

They have said before that they are working on a concept to lessen the grind. Although this is BHVR devs we are talking about here so it could be a flat out lie.

That is true they did....but I wonder what happened to the "Beginning game setup" and also having "custom games with bots". People have even given them ideas to lessen the bp grind.

This has been a constant complaint for the last 5 years, and all BHVR keeps saying is that they're working on it, or they have plans. Between the grind and SBMM, it's definitely making me play less and less.

You absolutely never "need to" prestige any character. Only do it if you truly, deeply want the bloodied cosmetics.

That was going to be my comment. At level 50 you can just keep cranking out blood webs until you have all available perks right?

They need to get rid of level 1 and 2 perks and double the amount of blood points you make a match 20-30k isn’t enough

Unfortunately I don't think they will ever fix the grind, or at least until a viable competitor starts stealing players.
They think it's the grind that keeps people coming back, for me it isn't. I have had to take so many breaks because the grind has caused burnout with the game. I always focus on getting the perks but when you spend 2 million BP to get level 1 bbq, that's far too much.

Even if you finish the grind and unlock every perk for every character that is out, they release characters quite quickly, so you'll have to grind out 3 perks for every other character on a routine basis.
Basically, the grind won't end. Unfortunately you have to pick a few characters you want to specialise in, and grind only on those.

You also have a greater chance of getting more rare things per prestige level. So it's not just the cosmetics.

If i have no needed perks on 50 lvl it will be cheaper to prestige then try to roll on 50 lvl

They don’t. There’s no incentive for the devs to reduce the grind. They only thing that will change that is if too many people quit the game, which hasn’t happened yet

Someone with 8000 hrs posted awhile ago that they finally have everything P3-50 all perks.

The grind for Shards is no less ridiculous.
I can understand the idea behind blood points, we need to work hard to get them to have some kind of goal in the game.
But Shards are needed to buy more characters or to have a variety of free cosmetics.
Players who can not play all day may be able to get 9,000 Shards after a few months.

Thank you. I am surprised literally barely anyone mentions this.
They want you to pay for characters and cosmetics with real money which is understandable for a company these days, I get it.
But, shard grind is beyond ridiculous unless you no life the game. Reminds me of gacha games.

Given the stingy payout (to survivors) during this event, I doubt they are working to lessen the grind

Blood points should be easier to get than shards. Shards circumvent the need to pay for non-licensed DLC, which is actually one of the few good things BHVR has done.

This infernal grind is really boring.
When you play survivor and many killers, the amount of BP you need to have the perks needed to perform well is incredible.
But as always, the community has whined about it for 2 years, maybe 3 years and still nothing has been done...
Why are the perks in the bloodweb ? Why isn't there a perk list and we choose the perks we want to unlock from there, for like 10k rank 1, 20k rank 2 and 30k rank 3.
I have 1600 hours into the game and i have only 1 character tier 3. Can't get more as i play many killers and i don't have the time to play 2k hours a year...

the grind is so infuriating, I feel bad for new players.

P3 either Claudette, Nea, Feng. That's the only Survivor you need the rest are for getting to 30,35,40 for their teachables. All other points into KILLERS. Don't be one of these people with a lot of P3 Survivors it does nothing for gameplay.

I realized that prestige survivors is very unreasonable. They don't deserve as much prestige as killers. At least I've prestige my main characters and now I'm just raising the others to level 50

I think we need removal of ultimate reset by Prestiging and Perk tiers (no tier 1,2,3).
Also make people can get at least 4 perks in single bloodweb.
Grinding should be focused on getting good items and addons not on getting all perks I need.
