Are Mikaela’s the new meg?
So far I have yet to have fun with a Mikaela team mate. Maybe if there’s like 3 then one of them is okay but usually when I play with Mikaela’s they’re playing like Blendette’s while at the same time being extremely overly altruistic. Crouching in a corner until someone gets hooked then rushing straight for it. But if there’s usually only 2-3 people left I’ll never see them do anything besides hide even if there’s a gen that’s almost done they won’t touch it. How has your guys experience with Mikaela players been?

I don't see much difference regardless which survs my teammates play.

They all hide like bunnies, don't do gens, don't get saves, second they hear a heartbeat (even if the killer is laser focused on someone) they run for the hills, ect.
I get the occasional one that's a bit ballsy, or just overly confident, and then the very rare one that's basically the best teammate someone could ask for

Yea, both are disgusting, but no, Mikaela is not a new Meg.
Meg is kinda clueless, like a runner with ear buds on blasting music at high levels whereas Mikaela has an air of undeserved confidence like fans of jackass trying out the latest milk crate challenge and uploading the footage from the hospital bed.

I haven't had many good experiences with Mikaelas yet, most of them have been bad.
I think it's sort of like the Claudette selfcare syndrome, but Mikaelas prioritize setting boons or healing in the zone, even when it's not the best course of action.

I swear every time I go down or go on a hook and look around, not one single Mikaela has ever been doing anything useful. They just wander the map like Nemesis zombies.

Ok I'm not trying to generalize Mikaela's...but I don't think it'd be an overstatement to say they might be the worst survivors I've ever played against.
Don't get me wrong there's been a few amazing Mikaela's, two of them literally carrier our teams to victory. But the rest seem to be literal bots. Sorry mikaela players

Mikaela mains are becoming the scourge of DBD. They put the totem down and think that makes them valuable to the team. They think they are the teams saviour but just become the team joke as they get tunnelled and camped.

lmao, i’ve literally escaped more matches in a row as mikaela then laurie and i’m not even using my main build. i do gens and usually am the gen jockey, i heal and unhook my teammates, and if their almost at the exit gate then i take protection hits for them, idrc if i get downed. usually i’m healthy anyway and i help my team escape.

As a killer I’ve seen decent playing Mikaela’s and some who are the weak link in the chases. She’s obviously he new flavor of the month survivor right now but that’ll pass eventually. 🤷♂️

It’s just the level of players you’re encountering, that’s all. Mikaela’s that I encounter as killer are not the same as the one’s I get for teammates. Actually that goes for any character honestly.

That wasn’t actually a dig at you, I just can’t stand Kate mains. They are always absolute potatoes when I have them in my lobbies and I actually lobby dodge them now. Especially the default ones. 🤢

I have been playing for a decent amount of time and I have seen "THE MEG" disguised as every character in the game. If the player is trash don't matter what SKIN they using.
