Reporting players, do DBD care

I see so many post on here about players who DC, go AFK, cheat, holding the game to ransom and so on. When you finish a game there are options to report the player. Do BHVR actually take action of reports of repeat offenders

So it's just like those buttons you see in store's and the like, how did we do, green for good, red for bad. No one bothers to check, but it's to calm you down and take your frustration out on.
Play a game with a hacker, leave in a mood, hit report and then just carry on, because the hacker can keep playing.
