He’s a fun killer to play as and against imo.

Survivor side I hate them because I run my loops tight and can't afford to spend a second breaking chains, but if I see it coming I'm nearly impossible to hit so eh.

Killer side they're okay but if it's not a 100% certain chance I'll ensnare the survivor it's usually better to just chase normally.

For the chain hunt, they're great as passive slowdown, but as an active ability, it feels like too much effort for what you get out of it.

The fact that Pinhead can break his own chains by walking through them makes playing as him a bit of a pain. Most of the time you can't help but walk through your own chains, and if BHVR were to remove that detriment, then he could be a really decent killer imo.

    His power is fine.

I played him and i think is weak the chain hunt is good if you can have it start in a match but survivor can cancel the power before its even start.

As a survivor i never played against him so i cant judge him but i think if i never played against a pinhead its probably because he is so weak not many player use him.

All I ask is the ability to de-link the breaking chains button from the generator repair button.

Please, just do that and I won't mind him. Until then, I hate him with a passion.

Engineer's fang should be baseline because his actual active power should be worth using more than focusing on his passive power in the box.

Far to RNG dependent. They often pail in comparison to the immense consistency of his distant cousin, clown. His slowdown is guranteed no matter what if it hits. Very much unlike pinhead, who could get twice clowns movement slowdown or none of it depending on geometry.

I hate it. Mainly because I'm on PS4 and if I'm chain stucked near a downed pallet, the chains will make me go through the pallet direct in the killer's arms lol.

Also, gotta hate when I'm trying to do the box and the chains stop the progress, even worst with slowdown addons. When I see my fellow random survivor trying to do the box, I try to block them so they can finish it.

His chains are basically useless and have a really high skill ceiling for how little payoff you get (and how much ground you lose if you miss). His real power is the box.

Nerf box, buff summoned chains a killer power should be on focused on his actual abilites not on a passive though admitadly you can influence it which is nice I guess?

You know what I call those chains?

    Bitches

He's weak as hell. The chains need some work. They just hit the environment half the time. Or snap 2 at a time.

For me it is this way to. I like his chains and they allow for some interesting play. My favourite feature is that the survivor needs to think if she Dead Hards the chain or riscs not getting it broken in time and taking the hit.

Also his slowdown is nice. I can run fun perks on him and skip things like Ruin, Undying and Pop without getting totaly destroyed.

This would be totaly fine for me. More quality of live changes are always good and I think the game should allow you to mess aroung with your controls all you like.

So that is what happened! I play Cenobite often and I always meet survivors who just slowly climb back over the dropped pallet to me. I was honestly wondering if they were having pitty with me, were throwing or if something was off...

No, this is not nice. They should make it so that you do not jump into my arms unless you want to.

@Gwinty if u play inhead often u could to see situation when survivors begin solve box 1 and stop it but chains already OFF/

His chains are hard to hit but have a great reward in loops. Plus you can use the portal for scouting

Honestly his chains are pretty weak overall - I still think he's fun to play as and I enjoy him, but chains and his power in general is really weak.

I don't necessarily think he needs a buff, but he certainly does Not need any kind of nerf, because he's not a very strong Killer to begin with.

I think they break a bit too fast when survivors move behind objects, but aside that they're extremely fun to use.

I think you should be able to repair gens if you have chains attached to you. Maybe. Buff his normal chains if you need to but it's really annoying lmao

I dont mind PHs personal Gate being a tad weak if it means his passive gets to be stronger as a result.

I dont mind PH breaking his own chains either.

Idk what, I think PH just needs something TINY. Perhaps allowing him to break or vault faster after using his Gate is what he needs to give him an edge

His chain hunt i feel is amazing and a great way for a m1 killer to apply pressure without giving him a teleport /looks at Freddy

His basic chains i feel need some tweaks. First off stop breaking the chains when pinhead himself walks through them. Second when he misses a chain speed up how fast we regain control of him. Its so punishing to miss a chain that its simply not worth using if the survivor has any real distance from you. Last increase the number of chains if the survivor is far away. As i mentioned hitting a survivor isnt even worth it unless they are close. If you miss they get further away. If you hit them, by the time you catch up they already broke the chains.

He's extremely annoying in Solo Queue but extremely underpowered in a full SWF.

Pretty boring, just another killer that counters the only defense survivors have looping. This is why the holding W meta is a thing.

I don't like his power. But that's because I don't like killers that either slow me down or prevent me from doing things. And that's everything Pinhead does

I would just make u open the portal and chains will spawn periodically from it for 15 secs or like that. While u can move.

What a functioning deathslinger? In pinheads current design he plays similar to freddy with a lot of passive game slowdown which according to people who hated freddy was obnoxious. Its a lot of reward for just existing.

Imagine building skill expresion into your killer and being rewarded for hitting abilities that have high skill caps. Friggin nurse does the same thing as pinhead but rewards you with a hit immediately.

Always baffles me how slinger was targeted before nurse under your logic. Game design 101 difficulty of power illicits level of potential power. Otherwise we ask the question why is is so tricky for a low payoff?

Deathslinger was nerfed due to his low tr the quickscoping was an overzealous nerf that has left him in a miserable state.

Meh, if I want a killer who gets rewarded for their skill expression I'll play Nurse, Blight or Oni.

Pinhead having a passive stronger than his base kit is fine. We finally have a killer who can play the 4v1 without needing 80,000 hours and a university degree in Psychology.

It's not as if his passive takes no skill, either. The amount of balls and brains Pinhead needs to make his Box successfully strangle the Survivors is astronomical, even with Hoarder and Lethal Pursuer. Letting yourself get carried by his passive is almost as hard as using his personal power.
