I love being the killer but ..BODY BLOCKING
It come to the point where It's not safe to pick up dying players if they can just block the hooks

If only their were perks that can counter body blocking and extend the time for wiggling… wait a second

Think of it this way, if you have a player attempting to save another player from being hooked - that's one less player that's working on generators and also another player that you can easily injure, then chase as soon as you have hooked the original player. Or failing that - drop the person you are carrying and chase the bodyblocker, now someone will come to get the person in dying state up, that's 3 people that's not working on generators.

Ive yet to see any survivor with a brain try to body block bubba :p

I’m actually grateful when survivors try to bodyblock a hook, it rarely works and gets me a free hit.
But if it’s really an issue there are perks designed to counter it (i.e. Forced Penance, Mad Grit, Agitation)

Depending on how long they've been wiggling, you can drop them in favor of hitting the other survivors. Especially if there's more than one. I will gladly take those free hits, thank you

Just hit them , dont panic, dont overthink it , give them a good ol whack across the head and you will be fine.

The issue is thats using a perk slot thats only useful if they bodyblock.

You haven't seen my survivors, in that case. They are adorable.

Yeah, but if body blocking is a big issue for him, it would make sense to use it to discourage survivors from trying to insta-save or bodyblock. Because if a survivor knows that you have this perk, they aren't gonna try to body block. Just like if you don't want survivors to hop on a gen right as the game starts, you bring corrupt intervention.

I guess your right.

Lol. I love your name and profile pic.

My friend, are you newer? It is almost impossible to not hook a down survivor these days.
I would suggest Iron Grasp and agitation, or Starstruck. No more worries

That’s the game. Equip the perks you think that will help you. It sucks, but it is what it is. Body Blocking, while annoying, is a non-issue. As others have pointed out, it means survivors aren’t on generators and are in front of your blade. Capitalize on it by equipping perks that will help.
Starstruck with Infectious Fright will keep them out of your way if you see it often. You can tone it down and pick one perk and use Mad Grit, you just need to be decent at hitting while carrying.
