I'll never get a stranger things code, never can when they're this way
Like its wonderful free codes are given out but throwing them out publicly so the fastest gets it is a little meh.
As a console player we arent always on the system let alone typing each letter takes 2seconds more than a pc unless you have a chat pad.
I wished these codes would be private messaged, and people picked at random. Like I probably still wouldn't win which is fine but at least it's more user friendly for all people.
But if you could win a cosmetic (stranger things) which would it be? Personally I'd take any, I'm a collector lol, currently trying to save some money see if I can get auric cells

We're also giving them away on Discord where you might have more luck - we have the codes in the Discord Bot (Elemental) and it's the first person who reacts to the bot message that gets DM'd a code, unfortunately, I am unable to implement a system like that on the forums so have no option but to put the codes here this way.
There is also a Twitter giveaway where you have a chance to win 1 of 50 ST outfits.

That's a pretty good point. I'm excited stalking the forums hoping to snipe an outfit code, but I can just copy and paste it - a console player is working at a severe disadvantage and it's going to take at least 30 seconds to transcribe that code.
Messaging active users would definitely be another way of doing it. Maybe grabbing random posts from people who posted that day? But there's still potential bias there, or selection of players who really weren't that interested (as opposed to people who are hunting the codes and are) and it leaves it unavailable to people who lurk the forums but don't have an account. It might fix one problem and patch another. Maybe a mix of different methods is the way to go.
Edit: D'oh, apparently that's actually the case. Well, that's good to hear.
As for me, I'm dreaming of Nancy's Justice Seeker outfit or Steve's This Is Not Happening or Last Minute Babysitter.

Well that's nice to know there are ways to get codes that isnt a race. I dont even know what discord is/does but I did create a Twitter account ages ago. Pretty sure DBD is the only thing I follow though, at work on a break atm so I'll have to check my Twitter later.

Yeah can be a pain, I'm gonna try that twitter see if I get any luck lol. But it can be difficult on the forums etc. Like iv been playing 5 years and I only have like 1k comments and only been active recently

Twisted Demo is my favorite Demo skin, though - I bought that one with the shards I got back from the rift pass. Honestly, one of the saddest things about Stranger Things leaving is that we won't see any new Demo outfits. ST had always been really good with negotiating new outfits with BHVR and he was one of the coolest killers to design on, being an actual monster instead of a person. I was really hoping he'd get a blight skin one day.

We are also giving codes out on Twitter and Discord today, there might be a better chance there for consoles - there's also a lot more codes on Discord. You react to the bot message on there, and the bot dm's the code to you.

Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V will always be superior. I dont even bother trying to type it in on controller even if I see it posted before my eyes simply because someone will claim it in few seconds

You could then delete the post so it doesn't clog up the front page
