New Kind Of Hacker, Weird Bug Or...What?
It's been another odd night, and I wonder if the MMR system has been disabled again. So many weird matchups against multi-thousand hour premades. ALL the clicky clicky macros you can imagine. Fortunately I'm playing a lot of Pinhead and have a decent stockpile of The Addon Combo That Shall Not Be Named, and there are few things more gratifying than 3 or 4king these groups.
But in two of these, a weird issue arose.
As soon as I hooked or downed a survivor, my game would start to chug. A little at first, but by the end it was like playing a horror version of Myst. I'd have to exit out and restart the game.
It's probably not a lag-switcher, I've run into those on occasion. It felt more like my PC was chugging, but alt-tabbing revealed everything running fine.
Anyone else run into this, or have any idea what it could be?
Never seen this before.

Video/images would help, but it could be that the game accidently opened twice, that can happen very rarely, but maybe something else was "eating" your hardware, always keep an eye out on the task manager, or if you have a RTX GPU you can also use Windows-key+R

There are two:
Iri Box addon + Pillar addon. An endless deluge of unstoppable chain hunts. Never once got less than a 3k using this.
Fang + Lens is also nasty as all hell, but hooks can be hard to land indoors and we've got the 'extra Hawkins event' now.

Yea that doesn’t sound fun for survivors. I probably ran into those a few times. Not a fan of vs. Pinhead.

He's very strong early-game, and falls off hard later. He relies heavily on being able to pressure effectively, preferably into a snowball situation where survivors are too busy to hunt for the box and do gens.
