Changes to the Stranger Things perks in ptb
So in the latest ptb, all of the Stranger Things perks have been changed to the new names (not the new images). A few of my friends and myself are wondering whether the generic perks with fully replace the ST perks or if this will just be for players who don't have the dlc?
I'm only questioning this since when the news about the license leaving was released, it was stated by the mods that those who own the dlc will keep all Stranger Things related content including perks images/text.
I understand that things can change between the initial news and the day Stranger Things leaves but just wanted some clarification since the ST perks are some of my favourite perks.

From what we have been told, they will continue to act as normal. Whilst they will be renamed- and maybe have their icons replaced, I don't know- they will function identically. Nothing about this will change.
If you have the DLC but not the Teachables unlocked, they will work as normal and remain locked until you unlock them.
If you do not have the DLC, or own the Teachables, they will show up in the Bloodweb.

I think they pullled all licenses because netflix is about to start its own gaming platform so i bet we will see a stranger things game in the future but its too bad dbd lost its license

I think the perks are being made generic entirely and the icons will be made generic too since apparently the icons are a known issue in the PTB.
Basically nancy and steve (and demogorgon) won't have teachables anymore, they'll just start with those certain generic perks.

Thanks everyone. It's a shame to see the ST leicense go but least we still get to keep them.
It was only because Mandy talks said they would stay exactly the same for people with the dlc with the image and name so wanted to check.

Thank you very much! Just thought I would check since the names were changed in the ptb even if you owned the dlc. I assume they will stay as they currently are in the live version for those with the dlc?

I'm checking on that, because to my understanding if you own the DLC then you should have the current names after the removal, and not the generic names.

can you grab me a screenshot showing that you own the character and the perks are still generic for you, because I did have it confirmed that you should have the original perk names if you owned the DLC.

Thank you Mandy, let me know if I should post this is in a different discussion but all of the ST achievements have been removed which wasn't stated in the patch notes. All of my adepts have been removed entirely.
Edit: Ignore this comment, just realised that the perks have been made generic and I just didn't realise.

Noticed they already look generic on an account without them, even tho the chapter isint gone yet.
Owning them, seems to be keeping the perk icons. I hope this stays this way

I updated the FAQ earlier this week...it was decided to avoid confusion that the perks would only take on their new generic names even if the Stranger Things Characters were owned.

Was there any chance of the perks retaining their original names while becoming generic perks, or is that a whole other tangle of behind-the-scenes processes?

I don't believe it's something that will be reverted, players were under a lot of confusion about it - both on our social media and via our customer support, especially newer players so the decision was made to just keep one set of perk names in the game.

Personally i think if they kept names the same for us and changed it for newer players it would cause confusion for new players if they watched a stream. I own ST bundle but i have no issue with what the name of perks are
