We need this massive surge in cheating to be addressed, it has been ignored for too long
For months now, the surge in cheating has gone completely unaddressed by BHVR. Not a single word has been mentioned on it. There is clearly an issue with the anti-cheat system we currently have.
Just played against a cheater, again, for the upteenth time. I was able to make a full report, but I am not sure if it will do anything. This has been going on for way too long now.
Feel free to add clips of your encounters with cheaters. However please please please edit the cheater's names out so the thread isn't closed. This thread is for shedding light on the issue, NOT shaming anyone.

Yeah, I don't think there's a good argument for not addressing it.

Definitely need the devs to crack down harder on this. Cheaters that have been caught make a mockery of the light punishment.

They don't want to give Hackers the satisfaction that they are making a significant impact against them by saying something.
Dumb reason when the players are going to do that anyways, because it has become too much of a problem and they should say something at this point.

They can't test totem spawns before releasing a new totem perk and you think they can deal with hackers? Lol.

3 out of the 5 games I played tonight had cheaters. I've been noticing it for weeks now, good to know it's not just me. I thought maybe I was just unlucky. ):

There used to be an incredibly small amount of cheaters back in the day, so they are clearly capable of dealing with it.

What scares me isn't the obvious 'I'm doing gens while walking on top of the map' cheaters.
It's that survivor that always seems to know exactly where I am, and moves just slightly faster than they should be...subtle hacker? Laggy?
Dammit but I hate it.

the less overt ones that severely load the dice in their favour in a game that already loads the dice in their favour, yeah
sad to think of how many get away with it given you're conditioned to expect a lot of things that make no sense

Honestly BHVR I can forgive the game being a buggy frustrating mess at the worst of times but PLEASE say or do something about this
The only silver lining we have right now is DC penalties being off, we don't have to waste our time with cheaters + we'll recognise the names and be able to dodge them easier. Now I'm not encouraging anyone to DC as that would be against the rules
But...If you're put in a situation where you literally cannot play the game because of them, what other option do you have?

And regarding cheaters, I haven't encountered many of them myself despite all the ruckus going about them. I wouldn't even know the issue if I didn't read the forums or watch streamers. I guess my region is relatively peaceful?

That's the issue I've had to. People who I'm pretty sure are *subtle* cheating, or otherwise must be exploiting some kind of bug-- I chased a late around a rock (like a small one on asylum map) and like????? Could not close the distance no matter what?
And it happened every chase. She would turn corners and be further ahead and it sucks. And I have to be Like,,, damn is that cheating??? It has to be.
