Was it worth deleting DBD?
I’ve finally had it with DBD, after playing since spirits release on console, and at max mmr, I took about a months break because of matches just being sweatfests. Came back and tried to play a range of killers (doc, wraith, oni, clown, ghost face for example) and the game is just so unfun now it’s ridiculous, unless you’re playing an A tier or up killer get ready for your teeth to be kicked in. All the money I’ve spent on DLC gone to waste unless I decide to come back at some point, but for now the game is deleted until they can get their things together. It was fun playing while it lasted but this game is so ridiculously unbalanced I can’t play killer anymore and survivor is just baby mode. But so topic discussion, was it worth deleting DBD or you think this is over exaggerating?

Personally I think it's okay to delete the game, provided you can return to it later if you choose to. So long as you don't do something stupid like snap your physical disc, ofc. Step away for your own mental health.
It's what my bf did so, if you don't think it's for you anymore, then I hope you find something else to play :)

Unless you never ever stop playing a game, eventually you're going to stop playing (if for any other reason the game itself will eventually go under).
Don't Sunken Cost yourself into playing a game you don't enjoy anymore. Don't think of it as $100 (or whatever you spent) down the drain but that you spent $100 for thousands of hours of fun but all good things come to an end.

You've played this game for more than 3 years dude, that's definitely more than the average player will ever stay. Your money hardly went to waste.

Money gone to waste ? Did you just buy it and not play it? Look at how many hours of entertainment it provided you and try to compare that price to something else you bought in your life and how long that thing lasted, you also have it "forever" now so you can always come back to it if it becomes fun for you later on. There is much more important stuff in life than some unbalanced "casual but wannabe competitive" game.

I’ve read through and you guys make very good points, and I’m not necessarily mad about spending money on the dlc, just more or less bitter about how fun the game use to be before MMR was implemented but now I can’t play it casually anymore at all and enjoy the dlc as I had. Playing most if not all the dlc killers feels like more of a burden to play if that makes any sense. I could rant forever but I understand and you all make a good point, I just hope they fix the game so I can enjoy it once again as I had before

Honestly if you keep the game in existence, even if it's uninstalled, and try to keep up to date with news I'd say it's absolutely the right call. Don't play a game if it isn't fun for you, because that's when it stops being a game. If you feel like you'd want to return and try it again sometime you always can.
