Are The Cenobite lines not returning?
Are we no longer getting them back? and what was the reason?

Legal reasons. They likely didn't actually have the right to use those lines, considering Doug Bradley has literally never spoken to BHVR and yet they were still using his likeness for Pinhead.

They never were and they refused to tell us for no reason. Issues were legal but behavior seems to dislike transparency.

As others have said, it was probably a copyright thing.
Their plan seems to be nerfing him to the ground so less people play him.

Fam, the voice went out for cigarettes over two months ago, it is time to move on. It isn't coming back.

Really weird they destroyed trust with everyone by making a "deal with the devil" to get Pinhead, which required they sign on for NFT's, and then right after they get him in the game they kill him and make him worthless. What was the point of going through all that for the character if they were going to do the standard Behavior "Let's try to dumpster the killer so no one plays them." strategy?

They're not transparent anymore because in the past when they were transparent, usually the things they said they were doing just never happened.

Damn, I really wanted to hear the voice in game (I play on console).
Do you think things would’ve been different if they got the license from the actual person who owns the rights instead of the NFT thing?

I love the person I got in an argument on reddit deleted all their posts. They said it was a bug and theyll come back.
Like I said it sounds much more like legal reasons. If it were a bug like lines overlapping they would just say so.

Yes,
A LOT different.
We probably could've got Kirsty and a map.

They said that because that was the official statement by the devs. The devs lied (and yes, it was a lie. They knew it wasn't audio issues) stating it was "audio issues" when the chapter dropped. Then just kept refusing to answer it. Unless their contract specifically forbids them from discussing it or the rights holders are actively suing them, I see no reason to be so non-transparent about it.

The whole chapter was a flop in my opinion and quite frankly I just didn't care about the lines being gone. Still don't care.
However, yeah behaviour wasn't honest with the issues they had. Clearly legal issues, they just shouldn't of put them in in the first place.

I actually agree with this. Why can't they just say they ran into legal issues. Sorry it'll probably never be back.
Suelu they can't get in trouble for discussing it unless it's ongoing and they're still trying.
Another big miss in this chapter was no map. How can you have access to hellraiser and not do a map.
Instead we got rcpd

They got the line wrong anyway. It sucks that Pinhead doesn't talk in game but if he was going too it's too bad. At least get the line that you're going to use correct.
The only killer who actually speaks in the game is the trickster. It's in Korean though so If you can understand it that's great.
Just like the only survivor who actually talks in game is Ash and that's just on the menus

For goodness sake just let it go there is no voice lines anymore lol

Don't listen to these people obsessed about NFTs.
They got the license from Park Avenue Entertainment, who owns the rights to the movie.
Clive Barker, the author, will regain the rights in December, but we don't know yet the extent that transfer and whether it includes the original movie or just returns his right to license his creation as he sees fit.

They were cut off for the NFT stuff.

No more coming :(
Now how will I arrive?

They'd talk about it if they didn't want us to forget. The old bait and switch with likely a cease and desist excuse.

Translation: BHVR is a teenager that doesn't want to be held accountable or live up to any expectations they may set for themselves. They want to victimize themselves to avoid potential criticism instead of just being straight-forward. Ironically they lose a lot of trust/respect for acting like this, they go out of their way to gatekeep criticism and yet it promotes more criticism than the stuff they're gatekeeping would in the first place

A waste buying him.
