depends on whether or not everything makes it out of the PTB unscathed.

Killer looks cool, the power seems good and you'll be able to really see a players skill when they play The Artist.

The new perks seem alright nothing seems like it will be over powered but I'm sure they will probably be used in certain builds and on certain killers.

Will be interesting to see what changes after the ptb.

I haven't played her yet but I watched a few streams and she looks solid. 😄 My off-hand guess so far is she's on par with Doctor.

    • She can pretty easily use the crows for long range scouting. Just fire crows toward gens or where you think survivors are and watch for the swarms. Her tracking and Doctor's aren't identical, obviously, but in terms of helping them figure out where to go between chases they're both really good abilities. Doctor's abilities give great stationary pings on where survivors are at a snapshot in time, while Artist's ability requires more direction but, when she has a swarm on someone, she can see exactly where they are moving around for at least a few seconds or longer.
    • In a chase Artist's ability can be used to zone survivors out of loops and punish survivors for going through pallet drops and vaults. She can't prevent a vault or pallet drop but can potentially injure and down someone with the birds. Also the birds have the nice benefit of showing exactly where the survivor is while they're swarmed, which can be quite helpful in loops where the survivor might be trying to mindgame the killer or vice versa.
    • Her perks seem decent. The Scourge perk gives gen regression on the most progressed gen when you use a Scourge Hook. Grim Embrace automatically blocks all generators for 30 seconds once per match once all four survivors have been hooked (which isn't too bad an effect. It's a little like getting a Pop on all the Gens, but not quite.) And her Hex is unique, letting her manually turn destroyed totems into those Hexes, with the more she places the more effects they inflict. The main downside to that Hex is that it only works on cleansed totems, not ones blessed by Boons or dull totems, so it relies on the survivors cleansing versus blessing. But it does, at least, give its best effect first, namely a 30% gen slowdown, so if even one totem is cleansed you might get some value out of it.

Definitely better than Nem or Pin Head that's for sure.

Unnecessarily fiddly and gimmicky. Pathetically weak. Basically, she's the same as every new killer has been after Myers' original iteration.

    Should go "Conchetumare" when stunned.

Not really a fan of her character design or power. She's just very weird looking. Perks are interesting, though.

I'd say it's probably one of the more interesting killer designs in terms of power and looks in recent years, but hey, everyone has an opinion.

Shes fun! She also looks really cool. Probably helps that i have a knack for crows.

Yeah, I'm just not liking it. She is just too weird looking, lol.

Was hoping for something a bit easier to play, but she seems to have A or even S tier potential once mastered, assuming she doesn't get nerfed too bad. I also really like her design.

With her goofy "setting up and firing giant blue crow heads" power, she feels and looks more like a League of Legends character than any sort of "horror movie killer".

And the fact that it takes three different button presses to setup and fire a crow head at someone, and unless you get a lucky straight shot your reward for doing so is that you get to see where they are until they take a few seconds to shake off the crows? With this after Pinhead's chains it feels like killer powers are getting more and more complicated and less and less effective.

My gut reaction is that she's trash tier, but I might change my mind after seeing how she performs outside of PTB. It's hard to gauge killers in PTB with MMR turned off, and I can't tell if a killer is just bad, or if it's the fact that all the survivors are red ranks.

The crows can damage if they hit within short range and not through a wall

Edit: Just realized im wrong. Once they're marked by a crow, then subsequent ones at close range will damage

The killer I think is interesting both in terms of power and design.

The survivor looks a bit like he came from a different game tbh but I don't hate it.

The map is cool but I'm a bit worried about how strong it is for survivor.

The perks I'm very worried about especially the boon.

If she dont change she will compete with spirit for the third best killer in the rooster. If they nerf her to hard like they are used to do she will die fast just like pinhead

Looks great although she looks a bit like a Spirit ripoff. The design is ace though yet again. Map looks great but not sure it fits in dbd, power looks great fun but a high skill ceiling. Its as if pinhead and Spirit had a child.

    Absolutely amazing!

More Gen slowdown Perks is what this meta needs, since all 5 gens get done in 6 minutes of the game and chases are way too long to compensate for that.

I think this is the right way to go and I'm loving the new Rekindle Totem Perk and making sure the Totems don't break if you manage to get all 5 rekindled. But on it's own when you get 1 Rekindle and get that 30% reduced speed on Gens, in my opinion that single Rekindle benefit is enough. Combine that with Thanatophobia maybe and you have yourself a longer match and more chances for the Killer to get into chases.

My only concern is that, does the Rekindle work on Blessed Totems? Because if it doesn't work on blessed totems and only on destroyed totems, then a hard counter to this Killer Perk is to just never destroy totems :/

But so far I'm loving the direction where B.H.V.R is going. We need more mechanics to "slow the game down just a little bit"

It's another anti-loop no mobility killer encouraging the W key meta because we haven't had enough of those yet.

Overall, she looks like she could be a brilliant addition to the killer rost, and I love the design and lore. The power looks like something you'd face in a boss fight, and the perks are pretty decent as well!

If there was any gripe, it would be the feeling of a missed opportunity to do something with the crows already on every map and maybe making another perk out of them, like "Spies from the Shadows" is, but that doesn't detract from how good a killer she could be.

She's really cool! I love her design and the amount of detail they out into her background, especially with her surrealist art. I'm happy she seems like a strong killer and her being a female is just icing on the cake. Video games can always use more strong, female characters. I'm crossing my fingers she won't get nerfed like Pinhead or Twins. One can hope...

Yet another anti-loop killer promoting Shift+W meta.

    Hillbilly chainsaw goes brr...

There are enough Killers who can counter the Shift + W meta. Spirit, Wraith, Blight, Nurse, Hillbilly, Cannibal, Oni and Twins. Also Huntress, Hag and Trapper to some extend depending on the map and situation.

Wraith and Billy are common as they are free however most people opting for Wraith. Then more survivors try this "tactic" then more and more popular will counters to it become, be it an increase in Killers who can outrun you are or an increase in 3gening and proxy-camping.

I like her. The power seems interesting, the chase theme is nice, her perks look good too and her map is also a fresh breath of air. Overall this could be a good chapter unless BHVR implements the usual 1001 bugs into it.

I've played a few matches against her. It didn't take long for me to get bored of her because she just feels like another Anti-Looping killer, which I'm not happy about. Because those are incredibly boring and annoying.
