Im just afraid what Trapper will become. He's still relied on grass, and the map has zero of it. Hes really an M1 killer that map. At least Midwich, Racoon have some completely black grounds for some traps.

I think Trapper should get to have his traps lightened or darkened appropriately for whatever map he spawns on. Kinda blue-y lighter traps for Gideon's and Ormond, sandy traps for Coldwind and Eyrie, etc etc.

The main building isn't bad, but the outside is disgustingly bad for him. You have to rely on putting it in an out of sight area and hope they aren't paying attention.

How does he play if you switch to more of a zoning strategy with the traps on that map? Use the traps to block anticipated strong vaults and pallets in a zone, along with add-ons that keep them resetting. The survivors will know where they are if they’re paying attention but still have to disable them to make that vault usable.
Obviously still not an ideal map for Trapper, but maybe he can still do ok doing zoning versus trying for surprise hits?

I feel it doesnt work, even if the color is exact the same to the map environment, the ground isnt a single color. I will always pop out if there is no grass (unless its complete dark like Midwich stairs & Racoon toilets)
Its like buff Legion feral frenzy speed to 200% but has to be exhausted before M1. Alot of traps for him, but no place to set.
The traps are generally dark, the map is noon time. There is no hope "they arent paying attention", its so obvious. I dont find any good place to traps at main buildings too. Its abit dark on some places, but thats it.
You should not always use Iri stone just incase you get into a map with no grass. The vaults have no grass on both side. They will just disarm it.

I noticed the 2 doors from shack can completely hide traps, but I highly believe its temporary that they're not yet put platforms on those doors. Just like those little step from the house with basement in Badham/Haddon, pillow in Yamaoka, snow in Ormond ect, all of those were able hide half the trap, or sink it down abit.
There are also some bumps that able to hide traps. But they're middle of nowhere.

Good, trapper is boring to go against anyways. I guess I should’ve guessed there was a random trap in the grass or in front of the window while Im looping now I’m insta downed… ZzzZzZzZzz…fun
