Does Franklins make the survivor drop the cube in front of you? Also why was franklins and hoarder meta on him?

    The cube is considered a item so yes. If you want to be an annoyance then run hoarder and Franklin to grab the cube.

    Yes it does, but you still need to pick it up.

    Chain Hunt was his main map wide pressure and he could in theory keep it up majority of the time with those two perks which work really well together for him, Hoarder showing you who picked up the box and essentially gave you a head start to move over in that direction before they started the solve action. Franklins guaranteeing a Chain Hunt would activate once you caught up to them or interrupted them trying to solve it. Those two perks combo'ed with his configuration add-ons which increased the time needed to solve the box.

    Now though, with his add-ons being nerfed and other changes i doubt this play style is worth it anymore or at least harder to pull off consistently.

    Hoarder is useful to find the person who got the box and Franklins makes them drop it so you can pick it up and start Chain Hunt. When Chain Hunt is active it's basically impossible to do gens, so someone has to find the box again, and it basically starts a cycle of never-ending Chain Hunts.

    It's kind of obnoxious to go against though, and I'm almost 100% sure the devs will make Hoarder not work on the box at some point.

    Franklins makes them drop it where they were when the hit registered, and you can choose to not pick it up. Franklin's is meta because you can force survivors to drop the cube. They cannot place it down, they have to solve it or have it ripped out of their hands. Hoarder is meta because it shows you where the box is when a survivor picks it up.

    Franklin's is kind of overrated on Pinhead. Yeah, you get the cube earlier, but downing a survivor with the cube is usually easy when they're injured. The passive chains that spawn are all you need. Also, stopping to pick up the cube midchase wastes time and can lose you downs.

    Additionally, the Lament Configuration has different respawn times depending on how it's found by Pinhead. If it is picked up off the floor, it respawns in about 10~ seconds, and if it's gotten through downing a survivor, it respawns in 30~ seconds. That means more Chain Hunt time, alongside getting a down at the same time meaning you are exerting ultimate pressure.

    Hoarder is also a little overrated. It's only really worth using if you're running box solve add-ons - and since they're being nerfed, I doubt you'll see it much anymore. Then again it's not like you see Pinhead a lot in the first place.

    Then they would have to make it so hoarder doesn’t work on nemesis boxes and vaccines anymore to balance out it wouldn’t be fair to nerf it for just one killer
