Might be done with DBD for awhile
Cheaters, DDoS, Swatting. Yeah ######### that. This has only been getting worse since the RE Chapter and BHVR only seems to care enough to respond if a gaming news site shines a light on them.
DBD isn't nearly entertaining enough to deal with this.

Yeah I’m also on break until I know the risk of getting DDOSed is gone. I really don’t want to have to deal with that.

It sucks that people are getting ddosed and swatted, but at the same time, is finally a big excuse for them to look into the problem and that didn't exist before. So... Silver lining, and all that.

I honestly hope more news sites start shining a light on DBD because of this. If it takes bad press to get their asses moving then so be it. Even if that bad press costs them licensing deals.
I also suspect I wont be bothering with the next chapter either until they show some actual incentive.

- Cheaters are a problem in a lot of games. Hacks have become so sophisticated that even Esports titles tend to have them, despite powerful, proprietary anti-cheat systems. BHVR could certainly stand to be more active on this, as EAC is a complete joke (many EAC games with modding communities include step by step instructions on how to breach it alongside the mod). I'd like to see Overwatch style MAC bans, to be honest. Cheat once, get caught and you'll never play that game on that PC again.
- DDoS/Swatting...yeah, that was a complete foul-up. I hope whoever let that slip by gets a month in the office jail. That said, this does happen from time to time and what's going to matter now is what BHVR does to make it right with the playerbase.
- That said, I think the game has been getting steadily better. BHVR never expected for the game to explode like it did, and are now running around playing catch-up.

Can someone explain to me what DDOS means?

More of less. If a hacker gets mad at you for whatever reason they can just completely disable your internet for however long they wish.

BEHAVIOUR you basically dig your grave pals.Even on f13th these things happened.Welcome VHS

A DDOS is a distributed denial of service. more or less sending thousands of bots to make requests to an IP, overloading it and making the internet really ######### slow

I dont have any issue in league of legend or any riot game. But they have a good anti cheat system with vanguard so maybe they need that

Elden Ring Network test has me drooling. Ever since the Halloween Chapter they have been trying to cash in again. Halloween, Freddy, Saw, Stranger Things , Resident Evil etc.
Halloween and Stranger Things were the PEAK and Stranger Things is leaving. RIP. They also have only started balancing this past year and I'm no longer impressed they are obviously over their own heads.

League is one of the few games with minimal hacking, but that's taken over a decade and nearly everything is handled serverside.
Back in the day there were plenty of hackers. They were just subtle about it.

I think a lot of people are feeling the same way.
So many threads asking for BHVR to respond, yet a wall of silence about everything.
I said a while ago, if BHVR carry on with the way thing are going, this game is going to have a slow death, especially when VHS goes live. I wonder how many people will jump ship. Youtubers are already raving about it while complaining about DBS and many fans will listen.
Come on BHVR, just answer peoples questions. Tell your userbase what you are doing to stop cheating, help with security, fix bugs and problems with the games.
All the silence is losing players and the ones remaining are just arguing on here, or being toxic in game.
