Does it only count once per survivor per match?

    No. As many times as you can do it in a match. It all counts.

    Keep in mind that often the counter doesn’t update immediately after a match and it may take some minutes. That always confused me when I attempted to get an achievement like this..

    Absolute nightmare to boost this trophy! so many people either don’t understand what you’re trying to do or constantly dodge the hatchets even when they’re boosting with you.

    I’d recommend boosting a little with the team first and let them know you want to farm, e.g. let them pallet stun you a few times and nod your head. I’d make sure you are running the nurses calling perk so you’ll know if the survivors aren’t highlighted red you are far away enough for the downs to count. I then get the survivors to follow me and then whack a wall in the distance so they know to stand there. Then you find yourself a convenient locker to stand by. Keep throwing and lining them up until you get used to it and get those downs. Hopefully rinse and repeat as much as they’ll let you. Good luck!
