Why do Killers never play anyone different?
I always see the same killers each game, Huntress (85% of the time), wraith, trapper, hillbilly ect....I never see any of the "fun" killers i would say (45-50% hit or miss) like Trickster, Nemesis, Pyramid Head, Blight, Twins, Spirit, Oni, Demo, Nurse, Pin Head (hes okay but not that interesting) It just seems like i see more of the free killers then anything else. I know more new killers are playing the game lately but its so boring going against the same killers everytime.

Fun is subjective. It’s not your decision whether or not killer players find certain killers fun.

Never said it was my decision but nobody wanna go against the same boring killers each game, and thats just my opinion no one said you had to agree on it

Because these are all the Killers that come with the game.
the more you play the more different killers you will see.
Except Nurse, very hard to play efficiently, as her blinks are more muscle memory than anything. DLC Characters are pretty expensive and you still need to level them, so many start with the starter killers, and then some day maybe get a DLC, from their they level them up but don't play them.

Most players on lower ranks are the ones who bought the game recently, so they won't have all dlc killers. People on higher ranks either don't won't to pay for another killer or just know that climbing ranks with legion or clown isn't the easiest nor the most satisfying thing to do. Either that or some can be hard to play.

Fair enough but how do you not like going against Huntress/Billy? I'm curious how you would rather go against Undying, Ruin, Tinkerer Blight then the 4 listed. I don't like going against Wraith not because he's strong (He's Not) but I tend to multi task during a survivor game (Drink, check on kids, scratch an itch, fart, etc) and he is not the killer for any of that #########. Trapper makes me nervous but don't dislike it. I don't like going against Blight with build mentioned, Nemesis even though I enjoy playing him, and trickster.

I Just dont care for Huntress at all I know alot of people might like her but she is just really annoying to me, and Trickster is super fun to play against in the recent games ive had with him, Nemesis as well. I have had too many bad experiences with a face camping Huntress, and beating me on hook -.-

LOL. Well play more Trickster and that will change I promise. Trickster is the 2nd best camper in the game. It's the player who camps not the character at this current time camping is used a lot by every character/user. It's the time where in...not saying I agree with it but facts.

At least some of that is because Huntress, Wraith, Trapper, Hillbilly and Nurse come free with the game. The others you mentioned are DLC you need to either pay for or (for the original killers) unlock with shards.

My guess would be that you're in a lower MMR bracket and you are getting primarily either newbie killers or Survivor Mains doing challenges who only own the free ones. Huntress is definitely best of the bunch as far as free killers go so... you're seeing a ton of her.

Really Doc is like one of the better Anti Boon killers atm. They cant hide from him with Shadowstep because of them screaming all the time...unless they have calm spirit which needs a major re-write in its description....but that's a niche perk that most dont run normally.

I’m going to assume you are in either Low or Low-Mid MMR. The solution is go to High-Mid MMR. There is where all the fun is and where I stay with the cool kids.
High-Mid MMR is where all the good players go to chill and just have a fun game so its the best place to be. You will see a high character diversity (except no Pinheads for some reason) and no one par a few are swf sweat teabaggers.

Kind of natural with the way balance is and the way the game is monetized. You have stronger killers that are also free, so you'll naturally see those more often than weaker killers who are also paid.

Well for one there are a majority of killers that are so weak you can lose the game regardless of how well you play. For many people losing the game at killer selection isn't fun. They want to feel as though their skill level matters on the result of the match.
There's also simply people enjoying different play styles.

Low rank players are usually new and don't have lots of DLC, ergo they play the free Killers. High rank players usually play the meta so they play the same 3-5 meta Killers. Variety happens in the middle, and even then its usually a mix of the first two groups.

A few thoughts:
- Certain killers are going to be more common by dint of them being free. New killers aren't going to have the iri shards to buy other killers, and may be reluctant to shell out for licensed killers.
- A lot of killers prefer a more unga-bunga chase and down style than a more nuanced, tactical killer like Hag, Doctor and Cenobite
- Some killers like Hag and Plague just don't appeal to people regardless of power. Others, such as Pig, Legion, Ghostface and Clown are considered weaker and quite difficult to succeed with. Others yet, such as Pyramid Head have very unappealing, boring addons that make them tedious to play. Finally, boons have been a defacto huge nerf to any killer with an attrition based style, such as Hag and Wraith, leading these players to switch to a killer with more immediate lethality.
- As you reach low-intermediate MMRs, you'll probably see the greatest variety of killers.
- As you reach intermediate-high MMRs, you'll see a lot more 'meta' killers - Huntress, Blight and to some extent Nurse and Spirit.
TL:DR - it's going to depend on the level you play the game at. At both extreme ends of the MMR spectrum, killer variety is going to be smaller due to free killers, meta killers and about half the killer roster being in need of some love from the developers, particularly in terms of addons.

I switch up which killer I play almost every game.
once every five times at the very least, and that's only if I have an archive or a daily that I'm having a really tough time working on.

I'd like to see more M1 killers but i get it. Times are tough.
I see so many tricksters that after getting 4th in a row i just stood in front of him and let him kill me. Enough is enough. Also massive amount of huntresses and doctors. Plagues too.
Plague i get since she is a nice counter to the nasty boonies i play her myself too sometimes but why tricksters. I love the killer but damn give me a Michael!

I personally play only 2 killers and I don't want anything else.

Some people only play one or two killers, some people like me play 10 different killers. Everyones fun is different I suppose.
