if you see a lobby like this just dodge, this is for both sides, these people will only either take you hostage on both sides, never ready up, this is a warning so people won't get the dc penalty/their game crashed or possible ddos, remember some cheaters are also pitiful and will not let you do gens/kills.

Yeah, they become the second killer but will not let you leave or do stuff, you share perks as well like if I have shadowborn as an example, they will have it, if they have thrilling I will have it.

Can the survivors also see the ghostface like that in the lobby?
I've had a match start when there were only 3 survivors in the lobby, and thought we were gonna get a 2 killer situation, but it ended up being a random kate.

Oh no worries, I was laughing when I saw that player called killer main then randomly switching to ghostface in the lobby.

I had this once where 2 survivors changed to killers last second.
i think those two were harmless but now I would also just turn off the game during the loading screen.

Tbf if I saw that I'd stay and take the 5min dc penalty if needed. Really curious to see what that looks like and the survivors reactions lol.

Yes, you can see the extra killer in the lobby, in this example they can see the ghostface but not me.
I've seen it in the survivor POV, you only see the killer and not the name, unsure if console survivors can see them.

From my experience, I have played matches like this, usually survivors want out but the killer will pick them up and go to the sky where you can't pick them.
If you have not experienced it I suggest you give it a try but it is not as funny as you'd think, killer just zooms, downs, and use other killer's powers.

That is what I do, currently since the cheater pandemic started, I've been dodging private profiles because I'm tired of seeing cheater, I'm not joking when I say, I have seen about 20 cheaters just this week alone, I'm tired of getting taken hostage and dc penalties.

This may well be a hacker (never seen the 2nd killer in the lobby before) but there have been instances where a survivor has been exchanged for another killer when loading into the game.
Have had a Nemesis and Deathslinger before, except on the results screen the extra Nemesis was displayed with the details of the survivor who was meant to be there.
Neither killer knew what was going on and they just dicked around for a bit, revelling in the absurdity of it before letting the survivors escape. The Deathslinger also had hatchets for some reason, they were on stream and as perplexed as the rest of the players.
Presumably there was another game loading simultaneously that ended up with 5 survivors and ended before it began.

Games with 5 survivors usually end when they all load.
Games with 2 killers will continue, and yeah 100% this was a cheater as I saw them change in the lobby.
But yeah sometimes it CAN be a bugged lobby, it happened a long time ago as well, maybe you remember but there was a time where there was server issues and it was possible to play a 4 killers 1 survivor in the match.

You know what’s sad? I have a theory that a lot of DBD cheaters/hackers never played DBD before the cheats. Whenever I watch a content creator run into some of them, they look like they do not know the basics. They start off with light blatant hacks, then after failing a few times to either catch or evade the opposition, it’s like they just say “F it” and turn on the full blown hacks. They stop trying to do their objectives, and just focus on being a spectacle in the trial.
I guess what I’m really trying to say is, some people out there just came to this game because they see it’s online and you can ruin the experience for others with these cheat menus they purchased/acquired.

I agree and considering it is really hard for bhvr to ban them it is like ruining a game for people for the cheap price of 20 dollars.

It would be ice if BHVR gave enough of a ######### about literally anything in this game except selling new DLC and cosmetics to do anything about it, but they readily admit they dont care bout their players and regularly ignore feedback and hacking reports.
