This game is not killer sided

In the grand scheme of things, this game isn't Killer vs Survivor.

It is top tier killer (nurse blight spirit) and SWF at the top, and average killer + solo queue survivor at the bottom.

If good killer players want to dominate the vast majority of their games they can choose a top tier killer with meta perks and the best addons.

If good survivor players want to dominate the majority of their games they can join their friend(s) and give themselves a huge advantage.

Framing it as killer vs survivor does nothing to help the actual balance issue, which is that the top 2 groups (top tier killer and SWF) so greatly outperform the bottom 2 groups (average killer and solo queue survivor).

The game is not Survivor sided- it’s Survive with Friends sided. You killer mains need to join us Solo Que players more often & more consistently. It’ll open your eyes. A lot of the stuff that doesn’t work against SWF works well against solo Que. And the stuff that DOES help against SWF is completely BUSTED against SQ. And that’s what got Wraith’s cheap ass nerfed. Still isn’t enough in my opinion, but I know SWF runs circles around him in his current state so I’ll compromise & take what I can get.

SWF needs to be removed from public matches. The game launched without it, and personally I believe it was by design- not a time constraint to get the game out.

I mostly play survivor solo and I escape more often than I do the times I play with friends. Ultimately it comes down to how skilled the individual survivors are, and how they work together. Solo just means you can end up with anyone, including potatoes.

So SWF comes with benefits, you can choose your teammates, and you can make up for some mistakes with good coordination. But that coordination isn't guaranteed, your SWF could be awful at communicating even on voice.

The game might have launched without SWF, but it was added for a reason. Take it away and people will just lobby dodge until they end up together anyway, like they used to.

Like it or not survivor is a team game, and to make a good team you need communication.

First : don’t speak about dead hard and meta perk if you use chili BBQ and lethal pursuer.

I had a similar match as a survivor against Nem on Forest.

We all gen rushed and the killer seemed to struggle in chases with some of us, he broke off a chase with me because I guess it was taking too long. Game was over in about...5-6m (at most) and I could tell he was frustrated because he opened one gate and then gestured for me to open the other one. He had very clearly given up and just wanted out of the match ASAP. Felt bad and told him to keep his head up.

And yea, of course its not killer sided. We got SWFs with full comms and call outs, we got boon totems, were on a 4 man team versus a solo Killer, we have exhaustion perks for second chances, DS to avoid 'tunneling', BT to make sure we get a safe unhook, etc. I think most players have realized that survivors are the power players, not the killers. A person with only 100 hours can see this just like someone with thousands.

Yep...this game is so survivor sided that right now I had a game where I've been facecamped by a huntress aiming a hatchet at everyone and I died with 2k points. But let's pretend killers have a hard time

Having a bad game every now and then is not the end of the world. Nor does it mean that killers are weak... it means you still have much to learn about the game and playing your killer. Not every game is winnable and not every game is lost either.

It's all about finding a good strategy that works for you. Keep in mind though, going into a game, that you should always have more than one strategy in mind. One strategy doesnt work for every game so make sure to come up with several strategies your killer can use based on their powers, perks, etc to get the most out of them.

Of all the meta things to complain about, the one that's particularly there for its BP and gives survivors what they want?

Maybe the issue isn't with your skill as a killer. I suggest playing different styles. I don't know the full picture because I'm not you but here's my 2 cents worth

People say nurse and blight are top tier but for nurse, I mostly get 1-2 kills and blight, I usually get none.

People say wraith is the weakest killer in the game but I can somewhat do decently constantly(3 or 4 kills) even when fighting bully squads.

I get that it's rough but survivors have issues they need to face as well. Don't let that get you down and try different styles of killer. Experience on knowing what to do and how to find survivors is important and that can only come with time and the hours you put in. Other than that it's the style of the killer's kit

If you prefer stealth like I do, try ghostface, pig and wraith

If you prefer a more tactical playstyle like setups etc, trapper, hag, corrupt purge

If you prefer ranged, Huntress, trickster, deathslinger

If you prefer 1 shot killers, billy, bubba, myers

If you prefer basic attack runners, clown, doctor, pinface

If you like to shutdown loops, Huntress, trickster, executioner, nurse

I’m sorry but you probably should stay away from this video game if this is how you feel. Take some time to remember this is just a game. This isn’t about the balance of the game, this is about your fragile feelings.

Yup, I compare 2 meta perk, where is the problem, just wait for the dead hard, I recommand to you to see good killer main and survivor can go in a locker … balanced
