What's a fun survivor perk you like to run even though it's terrible?
or, at least, ones you really need to force into situations where they'll do anything.
edit: I'm a fan of autodidact.
side note: big oof, I unlocked slinger and twins, but not Zarina or Elodie since I used shards, so I don't have their perks.

It's debatable, but Head On!
In a SWF, its potential is high and can sometimes lead to very interesting moments in the match or plays that would not have happened otherwise.
I've had moments where I was able to help my teammates mid-chase in a bad location thanks to me telling them "I'm in the locker in the loop! run through!" and they were able to flee from the chase or run to a better tile.
I also just love making some killers paranoid as heck haha. My teammates would run through lockers making Head On plays very obvious and the killer would try to avoid the locker even though I'm not even inside.

Buckle Up. I have never even used this perk before. It's so bad and I don't know of a build to synergize it with

Self Preservation. I sometimes have teammates who bring the killer to me when they are getting chased, so this perk helps a lot.

I'm not sure if it qualifies as 'terrible', but Distortion.
I know how much I rely on aura reading as a killer.

Agitation.
LITERALLY won me at least one game, you can't tell me it's not the best perk in the game.

Although yeah, Agitation+Starstruck on Doctor is demonically good when it works.

Blast Mine. It's pretty useless for a perk slot, but damn if it's not satisfying to see that gen light up in the distance.
Had a Wraith ragequit on me today because I lightburned him with it. I was just running it for the current tome stun challenge...

Honestly, Blast Mine always gets value against me. It's one of the rare perks that I genuinely dread seeing.

It's more emotional damage than anything unless the survivors do a wombo combo with it and chain-stun you or swoop in and finish the gen while you're stunned. It doesn't really buy that much time, and it's pretty rare that the added 5 seconds will time out a Pop or allow a slug to be picked up (in the case you downed a person, went to kick their gen, and then planned to hook them.) It's just really satisfying to watch it go off.

Hell yes!
This perk is a guilty pleasure of mine, together with alert.
But the perk I use most is probably Open Handed. I really like Aura Reading perks, and to combine it with 16 extra meters is just super fun.

Do the Breakable Wall techs still works?
I had hoped they had kept the bugs... At least the ones where you ignore collision. For example sitting inside a survivor doing a gen or opening a chest.
I think actually pushing people went a little too far. But I think ignoring collision was and is really fun. Especially since it is only 10 seconds, after cleansing a totem.
It also fixed survivors bodyblocking other survivors... which ACTUALLY helped me 2 times while it worked....

I am such a G that I pair No Mither with Slippery Meat. Yep, I am kind of a big deal and God's gift to survivor mains.

Dance With Me with Quick and Quiet. When it works, it is fantastic. The killer is left searching the loop and surroundings for you when you left 10 seconds ago.
Red Herring is also really fun when it works. Having the killer searching for a phantom survivor is actually very very strong. However it really only starts to shine when 1-2 Survivors are dead and everyone is playing more slowly and scared... And the Killer has to rely on smaller pieces of information to find the remaining Survivors who are being stealthy.

Flashbang is such a fun Perk. Getting that sneaky blind around the corner, escaping the chase feels so good

Circle of Healing.
It's just such a terribly balanced perk, but I can't help but love it.

Stake Out. I like not having to try at all for my great skill checks. And sometimes the killer will stay near you so much you just have pseudo-infinite tokens because you keep gaining them as soon as you use them.

I love using niche builds and perks. The main build i run is Red Herring, Head On, Blast Mine, Quick & Quiet/ or Flash Bang.
I sometimes run power struggle and smash hit.

Honestly I've been running Leader and Stakeout recently and it being mildly successful does make me stop and think of what else I can do

Red Herring is the most dramatic way to win a hatch match scenario.

Alert. Helps certain situations like killer goes backward after breaking House of Pain pallet or acts whether he's breaking pallet or not.
Sadly, hard to make use when killer is Nurse or Ruin is alive all along.

Self preservation. It can sometimes maybe help you get a flashlight save under extremely specific circumstances

I know that you can go through the killer when they're vaulting or picking up, I haven't tested the rest though. Breakable Wall techs still probably do work as they're an action.

Diversion. When it works, it works. It can actually be amazing when you're the last survivor and are trying to open a gate, you can trick the killer with it.
And even when it isn't useful, it's satisfying to see a killer going to its direction.
