Every post about VHS is getting deleted lmao!

I mean yes, VHS isn't about DBD. There's an off topic forum here for that kind of discussion.
28 -
it still gets deleted instead of being "moved"
18 -
I guess they might get merged though? Since I saw at least 3 times exactly the same topic and not everything is deleted
1 -
Nope, they're actually merged into the various other threads about it.
24 -
I think Mandy is merging them all into one. Good work Mods.

You mean this post of yours? https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2658391/#Comment_2658391
We merged the multiple threads about the Blood Hunt in a single thread, to avoid clogging the sections.

Pretty sure they are referring to the VHS Tape add-on. It is an Iridescent for Pig that spawns traps on all survivors heads. However last time I checked it was bugged. Would spawn all the gens at 99 percent done and the second it was finished it insta-killed everyone with a trap on

no they mean the game
2 -
Oh well damn. Nevermind then

gotcha

You win on the forums today.

This isn't a VHS forum. It's a DbD forum. Simple enough, one would think.
2 -
VHS Porn tape on Clown is hardcore OP.

Merging explains why my notifications said I had 9 notifications but my post was at 4 pages. Seemed like comments in that post took a random turn, amusing but random. 😂

Welll duh, it's not DBD related. That simple

It's not much better, pushing it all into one tiny corner in hopes people dont see it.

You'd rather the forums be flooded with posts about a completely separate game that has nothing to do with Dead by Daylight?
There's an off-topic section for posts like that. You should be glad that there's a mega thread for it in General to begin with.
1 -
If they're labeled as off topic, absolutely. There's nothing wrong with that, and merging should only happen if its the same exact post, mainly bug posts. Such a lame excuse to cover up wanting to keep that game's notability as minimal possible on here.

It's a DBD forum, not a VHS forum
2 -
Right I can't be the only one seeing this

I don't think the devs really care. If they wanted to keep it hush hush this post would have been deleted.
DbD is a passion project. Always has been. That it's the most succesfull in the genre is just an added bonus to the devs. If another game becomes more succesfull they won't just stop working on it.
They really don't care if other simular games release. They most likely endorse it.
I can't imagine how small minded someone has to be to seriously believe the devs are shaking in their boots whenever another asymmetrical horror game comes out.
Believe me they don't care. And hopefully if VHS is a succes the games can co-exist peacefully. Hell maybe we'll even get a collaboration.
But if you hope DbD will die just because another game like it releases you're going to be dissapointed time and time again.

DBD is a passion project 😂😂😂

If dbd is a passion project then the people working on it wouldn't have released patches such (notably the twin and nemesis patch) in a state they were in and would've delayed it. They would've have added colour blind options, better performance for low spec pc/last gen consoles, add more content that can help their game and balancing the core game aswell as perks,add-ons,offerings,maps nad power.
It may have been one in the past but as of right now i wouldn't consider this game a passion project as that an insult to poeple that actually put effort in their passion project.

Oml wow!
Off topic section for a reason.

Now, I also can't be the only one who sees this:

Lemme rewrite that cause I'm not talking for this post specifically, nor do you seem to understand. Also, speaking on what I previously said. "If they're labeled as off topic, absolutely. There's nothing wrong with that, "
There's an off topic section for a reason, they should be able to go there and stay there.

Right you also said that it's a way to minimise the game's presence here, by merging them into one thread. So I'll ask you, what do you think will get more attention- one megathread in General Discussions, or eighty three smaller threads in Off Topic, bearing in mind that a grand total of seven (7) people frequent there.
0 -
You know what the right answer is. A mega thread is in a single spot more likely to be brought up to the top, but multiple are constantly crossing the eyes as you browse the forums.
0 -
Except again about nobody leaves General Discussions so a single megathread will have exposure to lots of people while lots of off-topic ones will have exposure to three. Most of whom already know about VHS because there's been threads there before.

If they are about the same thing than shouldnt they all be in the same place? I dont want to see 30 different versions of the exact same thing every time I log on.
