Inner Strength/Inner Healing
My one pet peeve I have with Boons especially Circle Of Healing is that Inner Strength or Inner Healing is not only significantly weaker than Circle Of Healing but you are discouraged to use it because it gets rid of totems for people to bless totems. I know it’s only one perk but Inner Strength is such a great perk design, it’s not the strongest healing perk before Circle of healing but it’s definitely a fun perk to use. It helps counter perks like NOED and other hex perks. It has a decent amount of uses but is also balanced in a way that it’s not an infinite amount. It just sucks to see a perk be completely out done by another perk which seems to be a common occurrence in dbd despite the devs denying so.

I don't think so. I still get use out of inner Strength and I find in certain situations it can be better then circle of healing. Inner Strength I still more time efficient then circle of healing

It's not more efficient at all, if anything it's just barely equal. Both perks require you to work on a totem for it to activate, one lets you start healing instantly while the other requires you to find a locker and stay in it for a set amount of time, both take nearly the same amount of time to fully heal. Difference is Inner Strength has a limit of 5 uses while CoH can be used multiple times and can also benefit your entire team.

To be fair the boons discouraging breaking totems changes the power level of other perks too like No ED, Counterforce and Clairvoyance.

I don't care, if I find a dull, I'm cleansing it and readying up my Inner Strength. It's just too good to not have on standby when you need a fast heal and can't run across the map and have no one near by to heal you.

Its only faster if you heal once.
Meanwhile CoH can let you heal repeatedly and let teammates so it heals more health states faster in most scenarios.

yeah, coh shouldn't allow for speed stacking.

They balance out. Inner Strength heals faster with the downside of it being limited uses while circle of healing has multiple uses for a normal amount of heal time assuming you don't have perks that increase healing speeds (which it shouldn't stack with healing speeds in the first place)

Given that the Boon Totems give the other survivors free perks while in their infinitely-renewable area, they are all over powered until that gets brought into line.
But the OP has a good point, it's effectively just making some fun perks not worth taking.

that's exactly why I like it. I find that if I do a Boon, that frees up my hands so I can be working on a gen instead of healing someone. It's also really good on multiple level maps, like The Game, cuz people on both levels can heal.

Yeah, but I can't trust my teammates to have COH or heal me when I want, so my best friends are lockers and totems
